Abstract

Sekolah X merupakan salah satu sekolah swasta Kristen di provinsi Banten. Mayoritas masyarakat di sekolah memeluk agama Kristen sehingga pembelajaran di kelas berlandaskan pada kebenaran yang Alkitabiah sesuai dengan visi dan misi sekolah. Siswa di kelas sebagian besar memiliki kesulitan dalam memvisualisasikan konsep yang abstrak dan menganalisis suatu gambar, skema, soal cerita, maupun studi kasus. Pemahaman sepanjang hayat dalam pembelajaran ini adalah siswa dapat menyadari bahwa tubuhnya adalah anugerah pemberian Allah kepada manusia yang didesain oleh-Nya dengan detail dan saling berkaitan seperti dalam sistem peredaran darah. Struktur tubuh yang dirancang oleh Allah dalam sistem peredaran darah selalu mendukung fungsinya yang spesifik dan bekerja secara sistematis menunjukkan kebesaran Allah dalam merancang tubuh manusia. Penerapan strategi discovery learning dipilih untuk mengakomodasi keragaman gaya belajar yang dimiliki siswa dan melibatkan siswa untuk aktif dalam pembelajaran tidak hanya guru yang memberikan pengetahuan. Pembelajaran siswa secara keseluruhan di kelas saya sudah baik dengan rata-rata hasil belajar penilaian sumatif yang didapatkan yaitu 88,3. Guru tidak boleh merasa cepat puas dalam memberikan pengajaran kepada siswa karena seorang guru adalah pembelajar yang kekal. Kedepannya, strategi yang saya pilih dapat dikolaborasikan dengan strategi atau strategi lain yang lebih bervariasi dan lebih berani dalam menegur siswa yang melakukan tindakan tidak benar selama proses pembelajaran karena didalam kasih ada pendisiplinan. / School X is one of the private Christian schools in Banten province. The majority of people at school embrace Christianity so that learning in class is based on Biblical truth in accordance with the school's vision and mission. Most students in the class have difficulty visualizing abstract concepts and analyzing images, schemes, story problems, or case studies. The lifelong understanding in this learning is that students can realize that their bodies are a gift given by God to humans which were designed by Him in detail and are interrelated, such as the blood circulatory system. The body structure designed by Allah in the circulatory system always supports its specific function and works systematically showing the greatness of Allah in designing the human body. The application of the discovery learning strategy was chosen to accommodate the diversity of learning styles that students have and to involve students to be active in learning, not just the teacher who provides knowledge. Overall student learning in my class is good with the 2 average summative assessment learning result obtained being 88.3. Teachers should not feel quickly satisfied in providing teaching to students because a teacher is an eternal learner. In the future, the strategy I chose can be collaborated with other strategies or strategies that are more varied and bolder in reprimanding students who commit incorrect actions during the learning process because in love there is discipline.
