Abstract

Penulisan tugas akhir ini membahas tentang penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam pembelajaran Geografi dengan topik “Adaptasi dan Mitigasi Bencana Alam” di kelas XI. Tujuan penulisan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam proses berpikir analisis tingkat tinggi ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor pada proses belajar. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah merupakan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada masalah nyata yang terjadi. Siswa belajar untuk berpikir kritis, terampil untuk menemukan solusi melalui pembelajaran. Adanya masalah diharapkan siswa mampu menyadari bahaya masalah tersebut dalam kehidupan sehingga siswa menganalisis penyebab juga solusi untuk penyelesaian masalah. Jika masalah tidak dapat dicegah diharapkan siswa mampu menyediakan solusi untuk mengurangi risiko dari masalah bencana alam. Enduring understanding yang ingin ditanamkan pada diri siswa melalui pembelajaran bahwa Allah telah memilih manusia sebagai wakil-Nya di bumi. Untuk itu manusia harus menjalankan mandat dari Allah untuk menguasai bumi termasuk dalam menanggulangi bencana alam agar dapat mengurangi risiko dampak bencana alam. Sesuai dengan enduring understanding didapatkan hasil belajar dari penilaian diagnosa dan formatif 1 siswa telah mengalami peningkatan nilai, yaitu berkurangnya siswa yang memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum) dengan nilai KKM 70 yang telah di tentukan sekolah. Hal ini didukung ketika mendapatkan nilai formatif 2 dan sumatif semua siswa mampu melampaui nilai KKM. / The final assignment writing discusses that application of problem-based learning in Geography with a topic "Adaptation and Mitigation of Natural Disasters" in class XI. The aim is to determine students' abilities in high-level analytical thinking processes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. Problembased learning is learning that is centered on real problems. Students learn to think critically and are skilled at finding solutions through learning. Students are aware of the dangers, analyze the causes of problem to find solutions. Enduring understanding that we want to instill about God has chosen humans as His representatives on earth. For this reason, humans must carry out the mandate from Allah to control the earth, including dealing with natural disasters, thereby reducing the risk of the impact of natural disasters. In accordance the enduring understanding, it was found that learning outcomes from diagnostic and formative 1 student had experienced an increase in their scores, namely there were fewer students who scored below the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) with a 2 KKM score of 70 which had been determined by the school. This is supported when all students get a formative 2 and summative are able to exceed the KKM score.
