Abstract

Dilatarbelakangi atas kecintaan penulis akan alat drum dan berkehendak mewujudkan suatu aplikasi di mana alat drum dapat dimainkan di mana saja tanpa harus membawa satu set perangkat drum yang tentunya sangat merepotkan. Aplikasi drum memberikan keuntungan di mana dapat digunakan sebagai pendahulu atau penyesuaian tata ruang drum secara virtual. Menggunakan teknologi Augmented Reality dapat membantu pengguna melihat secara wujud virtual posisi alat drum ke dalam suatu bidang yang diinginkan, antara lain ruang tamu atau ruang belajar tanpa harus membeli terlebih dahulu alat drum tersebut. Aplikasi drum yang penulis susun diharapkan bisa menghasilkan suara dan tampilan drum yang memiliki kemiripan dengan drum akustik. Penulis menyadari bahwa aplikasi drum yang disusun dapat disempurnakan lebih ke arah area komersial misalnya, namun pada saat ini penulis membatasi penyusunan aplikasi drum ke dalam ruang lingkup yang lebih ke arah fungsional pengambilan virtual drum di dalam augmented world dan dapat disentuh serta mengeluarkan suara. Adapun aplikasi drum ini tentunya mempunyai kekurangan antara lain, keterbatasan jenis drum secara 3D object dan suara drum yang berkolerasi dengan merek drum tertentu. Dalam hal ini penulis berharap dapat menyempurnakan pada kesempatan lainnya. / Motivated by the author's love for drums, and wanting to realize an application where drums can be played anywhere without having to carry a set of drum equipment which is certainly very troublesome. The drum application provides an advantage where it can be used as a predecessor or virtual drum layout adjustment. Using Augmented Reality technology can help users, see in a virtual form the position of drum equipment into a desired field, including a living room or study room without having to buy the drum equipment first. The drum application that the author compiles is expected to produce the sound and appearance of drums that have similarities with acoustic drums. The author realizes that the drum application that is compiled can be refined more towards commercial areas for example, but at this time the author limits the preparation of drum applications to a scope that is more towards the functional retrieval of virtual drum in the augmented world and can be touched and make sounds. The drum application certainly has shortcomings, among others, the limitation of drum types in 3D objects and drum sounds that correlate with certain drum brands. In this case the author hopes to improve it in other opportunities.
