Abstract

Menjalankan peran sebagai ibu dan seorang pekerja dapat memicu stres akibat tuntutan waktu dan tenaga yang lebih banyak, yang berdampak pada pembagian waktu antara keluarga dan pekerjaan, konflik antara pekerjaan dan peran dalam keluarga. Rasa bersalah sering sekali muncul, terutama pada Ibu yang memiliki anak balita. Untuk menghadapi situasi tersebut, Ibu bekerja harus memiliki Parenting Self-Efficacy yang baik sehingga menjadi percaya diri akan kemampuannya menjadi orang tua yang efektif dalam mengasuh anak dan punya keyakinan untuk mengatasi berbagai tantangan dalam mendidik anak. Parenting Self-Efficacy dapat ditingkatkan melalui kesejahteraan psikologi yang baik. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan Psychological Well-Being dengan Parenting Self-Efficacy pada Ibu bekerja yang memiliki anak usia Pra Sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif uji korelasi yang dilakukan pada 54 partisipan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kesejahteraan psikologis tidak memiliki hubungan yang tidak signifikan dengan parenting self-efficacy. Oleh karena itu, tingkat psychological well-being tidak berhubungan dengan tingkat parenting self efficacy pada Ibu bekerja yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah/ Fulfilling the roles of both a mother and a worker can trigger stress due to greater demands of time and energy, impacting the division of time between family and work, and creating conflicts between work and family roles. Feelings of guilt often arise, especially in mothers with toddlers. To address these situations, working mothers need to have good Parenting Self-Efficacy, which enables them to feel confident in their ability to be effective parents and believe they can overcome various challenges in raising children. Parenting Self-Efficacy can be enhanced through good psychological well-being. This study aims to explore the relationship between Psychological Well-Being and Parenting Self-Efficacy among working mothers with preschool-aged children. The research employed a quantitative correlational study involving 54 participants. The results indicate that psychological well-being is not significantly correlated with parenting self-efficacy. Therefore, the level of psychological well-being is not associated with the level of parenting self-efficacy in working mothers with preschool-aged children.
