Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi komunikasi politik dan penggunaan media dalam memenangkan pemilihan legislatif anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Provinsi Lampung tahun 2024, dengan studi kasus pada Fauzan Sibron dari Partai NasDem. Sistem demokrasi Indonesia yang desentralistik memungkinkan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam proses pemilu, dan strategi komunikasi politik menjadi kunci dalam memperoleh dukungan suara. Fauzan Sibron berhasil meraih suara tertinggi dengan 40.824 suara di Provinsi Lampung, menunjukkan efektivitas strategi komunikasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk menganalisis berbagai aspek komunikasi politik dan penggunaan media oleh Fauzan Sibron dalam kampanyenya. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Fauzan sangat memanfaatkan media massa dan sosial, khususnya Instagram, untuk berkomunikasi dengan pemilih dan menyampaikan visi misinya. Penggunaan media ini ditunjang oleh strategi kampanye yang melibatkan interaksi langsung dengan masyarakat, seperti pertemuan terbuka dan kampanye door-to-door. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya komunikasi politik yang efektif dan penggunaan media dalam pemilihan legislatif di Indonesia, serta dapat menjadi referensi bagi politisi lain dalam merancang strategi kampanye yang sukses. / This research examines political communication strategies and media usage in winning the 2024 legislative elections for members of the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) of Lampung Province, with a case study focusing on Fauzan Sibron from the NasDem Party. Indonesia's decentralized democracy allows active community involvement in the electoral process, where political communication strategies are pivotal in gaining voter support. Fauzan Sibron garnered the highest number of votes with 40,824 in Lampung Province, underscoring the effectiveness of his communication strategies. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method to analyze various aspects of political communication and media utilization by Fauzan Sibron during his campaign. Findings reveal Fauzan's extensive use of both mass and social media, particularly Instagram, to engage with voters and convey his vision. This media usage was complemented by campaign strategies involving direct interaction with the community, such as open meetings and door-to-door campaigns. The study's findings provide insights into the significance of effective political communication and media utilization in Indonesia's legislative elections, serving as a reference for other politicians in crafting successful campaign strategies.
