Abstract

Indonesia is a land of opportunity for the development of digital sector. Having been introduced to the internet since the 90s, Indonesia has a tremendous growth of internet users every year. This situation attracted a lot of international companies to put their investment in Indonesia digital sector, or more specific the E-Commerce sector. The number of foreign direct investment inflow to this sector is massive, thus the E-Commerce sector grow rapidly with more users on the platform. Indonesia being a developing country with its majority of middle-to-low society able to use technology, raise a lot of concerns regarding the Cyber-Security issue. The fear of foreign domination on the market because of the massive number of investment to Cyber-Attack on national critical infrastructure threatening Indonesia’s sovereignty and stability. The purpose of this research is to identify the impact of E-Commerce immense growth on the occurrence of national-level Cyber- Threats in Indonesia, considering the immense growth itself induced with foreign involvement. Furthermore, this research use exploratory method, with qualitative approach. The concepts of this research are E-Commerce and Cyber-Security. The results from this research came from Indonesia’s current development of Cyber- Security and how Indonesia adapt with the immense growth of E-Commerce to maintain stability, safety and sovereignty. / Indonesia adalah sebuah tanah harapan untuk perkembangan sector digital. Sudah diperkenalkan dengan teknologi internet sejak tahun 90an, Indonesia memiliki pertumbuhan pengguna internet yang cukup pesat setiap tahunnya. Situasi ini menarik perhatian dari banyak perusahaan internasional untuk menaruh investasi di sektor digital Indonesia. Angka investasi asing langsung yang masuk ke sektor ini sangat besar, menyebabkan pertumbuhan yang pesat di sektor E- Commerce dengan semakin banyaknya perngguna platform ini. Indonesia sebagai sebuah negara berkembang yang mayoritas menengah kebawahnya dapat menggunakan teknologi, menimbulkan banyak kecemasan terhadap isu keamanan siber. Kekhawatiran akan dominasi asing akan pasar dikarenakan besarnya angka investasi asing yang masuk sampai dengan serangan siber ditujukan ke infrastruktur kritis yang dapat mengancam kedaulatan dan stabilitas negara Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengindentifikasi dampak dari pertumbuhan pesat E-Commerce terhadap terjadinya ancaman siber tingkat nasional di Indonesia, mengingat pertumbuhan pesat tersebut pun disebabkan keterlibatan pihak asing. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksploratif, dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Konsep dari penelitian ini adalah E-Commerce dan keamanan siber. Hasil dari penelitian ini berasal dari perkembangan keamanan siber Indonesia sekarang dan bagaimana Indonesia beradaptasi dengan pertumbuhan pesat E-Commerce untuk menjaga stabilitas, keamanan dan kedaulatan.
