Abstract

Tanah dasar bermasalah merupakan salah satu kendala yang sering dihadapi dalam dunia konstruksi di Indonesia. Tanah dasar dikatakan bermasalah, karena memiliki sifat daya dukung rendah, kadar air tinggi, penurunan tinggi, dan kembang susut yang tinggi. Tanah-tanah seperti ini dapat diperbaiki dengan metode stabilisasi. Stabilisasi tanah dapat dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu secara mekanis dan kimiawi. Stabilisasi secara kimiawi merupakan upaya yang dilakukan untuk memperbaiki sifat tanah melalui penambahan material lain seperti kapur dan serbuk marmer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stabilisasi dari penambahan serbuk marmer dan kapur dengan ketebalan perbaikan tertentu terhadap perubahan sifat tanah, kenaikan nilai CBR dan daya dukung pada tanah. Pengujian yang dilakukan melalui pemodelan fisik menggunakan bak uji di laboratorium. Tanah lempung dipadatkan lapis per lapis sesuai dengan kepadatan dan kadar air tanah lempung di lapangan. Tanah stabilisasi kapur dan serbuk marmer dipadatkan di permukaan dengan tebal 15 cm dan 30 cm. Kepadatan dan kadar air tanah sesuai dengan hasil uji kompaksi. Variasi penambahan yang digunakan adalah 1,5 % dan 3% sebuk kapur dan dikombinasikan dengan 3%, 6%, dan 9% serbuk marmer. Pengujian campuran di bak uji akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat CBR lapangan untuk mengetahui nilai daya dukung tanah setiap titik tanah yang telah distabilisasi. Dalam pengujian ini didapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan peningkatan karakteristik tanah perbaikan serbuk kapur dan marmer mengalami peningkatan kepadatan tanah yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai berat isi kering tanah dari hasil pengujian kompaksi. Hasil pengujian CBR menunjukkan bahwa dengan kadar campuran serbuk marmer dan kapur yang sama dapat menghasilkan nilai CBR yang berbeda sesuai tebal perbaikan dilakukan. Pengujian CBR optimum didapatkan pada campuran 3% kapur dengan 9% serbuk marmer dengan ketebalan perbaikan 30 cm dapat meningkatkan nilai CBR tanah sebesar 11,79%. / The problematic subgrade is one of the common obstacles faced in the construction world in Indonesia. Subgrade soil is deemed problematic due to its low bearing capacity, high water content, high settlement, and high shrink-swell characteristics. The soils can be improved through stabilization methods. Soil stabilization can be done in two ways: mechanically and chemically. Chemical stabilization is an effort to improve soil properties by adding other materials such as lime and marble powder. This study aims to determine the effect of stabilization through the addition of marble powder and lime with certain thicknesses of improved soil properties, increased CBR values, and bearing capacity of the soil. Testing was conducted through physical modeling using test tanks in the laboratory. The clay soil was compacted layer by layer according to field soil density and moisture content. Lime and marble powder stabilized soil were compacted on the surface with thicknesses of 15 cm and 30 cm. Soil density and moisture content following compaction test results. The variations used were 1.5% and 3% lime powder combined with 3%, 6%, and 9% marble powder. Mix testing in the test tanks will be conducted using field CBR equipment to determine the bearing capacity value of each stabilized soil point. This testing yielded results showing an increase in soil characteristics with lime and marble powder improvement, as indicated by the dry density of the soil from compaction test results. CBR test results showed that with the same mixture of marble powder and lime, different CBR values can be obtained depending on the thickness of the improvement. Optimum CBR testing was obtained with a mixture of 3% lime and 9% marble powder with a 30 cm improvement thickness, increasing the soil's CBR value by 11.79%.
