Abstract

The problem in increasing employee motivation is how the attitude and style carried out by organizational leaders in fostering good work motivation among employees. If work motivation or work enthusiasm decreases, it will cause losses to the organization. There are still employees who lack enthusiasm at work, sometimes the work is slow to do, sometimes also when employees serving buyers do not give a good response to the community, it can also be seen from the appearance of employees who sometimes lack enthusiasm, this is what shows that the problem can occur due to the lack of motivation that employees at PT. Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret). This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and promotion of office against employee motivation PT. Indomarco Primatama (Indomaret) in Aceh Tamiang District. The method used in this study using quantitative research methods with a sample of 58 peoples and error rate of 5%. The data collection method in this study uses Test the Validity and Reliability of Research Instruments, Classic assumption test and Hypothesis test. According to the results of the linear regression analysis, remuneration has a positive and considerable impact on employees' motivation. This implies that employee's motivation for work will be positively impacted by good compensation, with a percentage of influence equal to 32%. Additionally, promotion has a favorable and considerable impact on employee work motivation. This indicates that a promotion to a good position will positively affect employee work motivation with a 63% influence on work motivation. Workplace motivation is significantly impacted by both compensation and job promotion. This is demonstrated by the output table summary, which shows that the adjusted R square (R2) value is 0.33. Thus, the independent variable accounts for 33% of the influence, with the remaining factors influenced by factors that were not investigated. / Masalah dalam meningkatkan motivasi karyawan adalah bagaimana sikap dan gaya yang dilakukan oleh pimpinan organisasi dalam menumbuhkan motivasi kerja yang baik antar karyawan. Jika motivasi kerja atau semangat kerja menurun, maka akan menimbulkan kerugian bagi organisasi. Masih ada karyawan yang kurang semangat dalam bekerja, terkadang pekerjaan lambat dilakukan, terkadang juga ketika karyawan yang melayani pembeli tidak memberikan respon yang baik kepada masyarakat, hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari penampilan karyawan yang terkadang kurang semangat, hal inilah yang menunjukkan bahwa masalah tersebut dapat terjadi karena kurangnya motivasi yang dimiliki karyawan di PT. Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi dan promosi jabatan terhadap motivasi karyawan PT. Indomarco Primatama (Indomaret) di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah 30 orang dan tingkat kesalahan 5%. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Validitas dan Reliabilitas Instrumen Penelitian, uji asumsi klasik dan uji Hipotesis. Menurut hasil analisis regresi linier, remunerasi memiliki dampak positif dan cukup besar terhadap motivasi karyawan. Ini menyiratkan bahwa motivasi karyawan untuk bekerja akan dipengaruhi secara positif oleh kompensasi yang baik, dengan persentase pengaruh sama dengan 32%. Selain itu, promosi memiliki dampak yang menguntungkan dan cukup besar terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Hal ini menandakan bahwa promosi ke posisi yang baik akan berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan dengan pengaruh 63% terhadap motivasi kerja. Motivasi di tempat kerja secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh kompensasi dan promosi. Ini ditunjukkan oleh ringkasan tabel output, yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai R square (R2) yang disesuaikan adalah 0.33. Dengan demikian, variabel independen menyumbang 33% dari pengaruh, dengan faktor-faktor yang tersisa dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor yang tidak diselidiki.
