Abstract

Aplikasi mobile telah menjadi bagian penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, memungkinkan pengguna untuk melakukan aktivitas dengan efisien melalui perangkat mobile. Namun, seringkali pengguna kesulitan mengingat tanggal masa garansi barang-barang yang dimiliki. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, digunakan pendekatan pengembangan berbasis mobile dengan memanfaatkan teknologi React Native untuk menangani aspek frontend aplikasi. Express.js dari Node.js digunakan untuk mengatasi kebutuhan backend, menyediakan alur kerja yang efisien dan dapat diandalkan. Sementara itu, MySQL dipilih sebagai sistem manajemen basis data untuk menyimpan semua informasi penting terkait barang- barang dan masa garansi. dikembangkanlah aplikasi mobile yang bertujuan untuk mengingatkan pengguna tentang tanggal masa garansi barang mereka dengan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis notifikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi yang membantu pengguna mengelola barang-barang mereka, meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya tanggal masa garansi, dan memberikan pengingat sebelum tanggal garansi berakhir. Studi ini mencakup implementasi fitur notifikasi, dan manajemen data barang. Selain itu, dilakukan pengujian black-box untuk memastikan aplikasi berfungsi dengan baik./ Mobile applications have become an important part of everyday life, allowing users to carry out activities efficiently via mobile devices. However, users often have difficulty remembering the warranty period for the goods they own. To overcome these challenges, a mobile-based development approach was used by utilizing React Native technology to handle the frontend aspects of the application. Express.js from Node.js is used to address backend needs, providing an efficient and reliable workflow. Meanwhile, MySQL was chosen as the database management system to store all important information regarding goods and warranty periods. A mobile application was developed which aims to remind users about the warranty period date for their goods using a notification-based approach. This research aims to design an application that helps users manage their items, increases awareness of the importance of warranty period dates, and provides reminders before the warranty expiration date. This study includes the implementation of notification features and item data management. In addition, black-box testing is carried out to ensure the application functions properly.
