Abstract

Pariwisata memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian, dan dengan banyaknya destinasi wisata yang tersedia, pengambilan keputusan menjadi penting. Dalam konteks ini, Metode TOPSIS dan Metode AHP telah digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk memilih destinasi wisata yang optimal. Namun, belum ada studi komprehensif yang membandingkan kedua metode tersebut dalam konteks ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil dan rekomendasi antara Metode TOPSIS dan Metode AHP dalam pemilihan destinasi wisata. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan pandangan yang lebih baik tentang efektivitas kedua metode ini dalam membantu pelancong membuat keputusan yang lebih informasional dan cerdas dalam memilih destinasi wisata yang sesuai dengan preferensi mereka. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode menghasilkan peringkat pertama yang sama dan tingkat kesesuaian metode TOPSIS yang mencapai sebesar 99.99684909% dan sedikit lebih unggul daripada metode AHP yaitu mencapai 99.99553477% / Tourism plays a crucial role in the economy, and with numerous tourist destinations available, decision-making becomes crucial. In this context, the TOPSIS Method and the AHP Method have been used as tools to select optimal tourist destinations. However, there has been no comprehensive study comparing these two methods in this context. This study aims to analyze the differences in results and recommendations between the TOPSIS Method and the AHP Method in the selection of tourist destinations. Through this research, it is hoped to provide a better understanding of the effectiveness of these two methods in helping travelers make more informational and intelligent decisions in choosing tourist destinations that suit their preferences. The results of the study indicate that both methods produce the same top ranking and the suitability level of the TOPSIS method reaches 99.99684909%, slightly superior to the AHP method which reaches 99.99553477%.
