Abstract

In Indonesia people with disabilities have not received their rights yet especially the opportunity to get a job and the discrimination has been happening ever since. Even though, Indonesia is one of country that ratified ILO Convention No.111 about Discrimination (Employment and Occupation) since 1999. This research is made in order to know the national interest of Indonesia regarding the ratification of ILO Convention No.111 and the implementation of the convention in Indonesia. This research is using qualitative method in order to explain the national interest of Indonesia regarding the ratification of ILO Convention No.111 and the implementations of it in Indonesia. Also, in this research is using data collection such as interview, literature review, and online research. The outcome of this thesis shown that the national interest of Indonesia regarding the ratification of ILO Convention No.111 are promoting the rights of people with disabilities and achieving the environment of inclusive on people with disabilities. Moreover, the Economic of Indonesia will growth because of it. In order to achieved that, Indonesia need to work together with ILO and all of the important actors. Thereafter, the implementation of ILO Convention No.111 is implemented well because Indonesia is struggling to make sure that their rights is fulfilled and suitable with social justice even though it is not that perfect. / Pada saat ini di Indonesia para penyandang disabilitas masih belum mendapatkan haknya secara penuh khususnya untuk memperoleh pekerjaan masih kerap terjadi diskriminasi. Padahal Indonesia adalah salah satu negara yang telah meratifikasi Konvensi ILO No.111 Tentang Diskriminasi dalam Pekerjaan dan Jabatan sejak tahun 1999. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepentingan Indonesia dalam meratifikasi Konvensi ILO No.111 Tentang Diskriminasi dalam Pekerjaan dan Jabatan khususnya para penyandang disabilitas dan implementasinya di Indonesia demi mencapai keadilan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menjelaskan kepentingan Indonesia dalam meratifikasi Konvensi ILO No.111 dan implementasi-implementasinya di Indonesia. Kemudian pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, studi pustaka, penelusuran daring. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepentingan Indonesia meratifikasi konvensi ILO No.111 demi meningkatkan hak penyandang disabilitas serta mencapai lingkungan yang inklusif penyandang disabilitas. Selain itu, ekonomi Indonesia juga dapat meningkat karena hal tersebut. Oleh karena itu demi mencapai semua itu Indonesia perlu bekerjasama dengan ILO dan aktor penting lainya untuk meningkatkan hak penyandang disabilitas tersebut. Kemudian hasil implementasi dari Konvensi ILO No.111 tersebut berjalan di Indonesia karena Indonesia berusaha untuk memastikan hak penyandang disabilitas terpenuhi dan sesuai dengan keadilan sosial meskipun kurang maksimal.
