Abstract

Proses pengendalian persediaan sangatlah penting untuk perusahaan dikarenakan persediaan merupakan penentu kelangsungan hidup dari suatu perusahaan. Tanpa adanya persediaan, perusahaan akan dihadapkan pada resiko dimana perusahaan tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan pelanggan. Akibatnya, perusahaan akan kehilangan kesempatan untuk memperoleh keuntungan yang seharusnya didapatkan. PT Polaris Graha Internusa merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang usaha peternakan sapi. PT PGI masih belum memiliki sistem manajemen persediaan, sehingga proses pengendalian persediaan masih dilakukan secara manual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sistem informasi manajemen persediaan berbasis web yang mampu mendukung perusahaan dalam mengelola dan mengatur persediaan. Sistem juga dapat menghasilkan laporan data persediaan barang secara akurat yang diperoleh dari hasil pencatatan dan dokumentasi. Selain itu, sistem dapat membantu pengendalian persediaan dengan menghitung jumlah Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir ini, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan metodologi pengembangan sistem menggunakan metodologi RAD dengan menggunakan metode prototyping. Pengujian pada tugas akhir ini menggunakan black box testing yang berupa user acceptance test. Sistem manajemen persediaan berbasis web telah berhasil dibuat dengan fitur sistem persediaan yang dirancang dapat mempermudah kegiatan pengendalian persediaan dengan menampilkan informasi seperti biaya pengeluaran dan biaya operasional dari setiap ternak sapi. Metode Economic Order Quantity telah berhasil diterapkan untuk mempermudah user dalam mengetahui jumlah kuantitas pemesanan dari setiap pemesanan persediaan ternak sapi. / Inventory control process is very important for the company because inventory is a determinant of the survival of a company. Without inventory, the company will be faced with risks where the company cannot meet the needs and desires of customers. As a result, companies will lose the opportunity to obtain the benefits that should be obtained. PT Polaris Graha Internusa is a company engaged in the field of cattle farming. PT PGI still does not have an inventory management system, so the inventory control process is still done manually. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based inventory management information system that is able to support companies in managing and managing inventory. The system can also produce accurate inventory data reports obtained from the results of recording and documentation. In addition, the system can help inventory control by calculating the number of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). In completing this thesis, the data collection methods used are the study of literature, observation and interviews, while the system development methodology uses the RAD methodology using the prototyping method. Testing in this final project uses black box testing in the form of user acceptance test. A web-based inventory management system has been successfully created with a inventory system feature designed to facilitate inventory control activities by displaying information such as expenses and operational costs for each cattle. The Economic Order Quantity method has been successfully applied to make it easier for users to find out the quantity of orders for each cattle inventory
