Abstract
This research has the aim to empirically prove the impact of internal CEO promotion, liquidity, asset turnover, and debt-to-equity ratio on profitability. The populations in this research study are infrastructure, utilities, and transportation companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018, using purposive sampling with a final total sample of 200 infrastructure, utilities, and transportation company year observations. The data analysis that was used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that asset turnover and current ratio have positive significant effect on profitability (return on assets) while internal CEO promotion and debt-to-equity ratio have no significant effect in a company regarding its profitability which is determined by its return on assets.
