Abstract
Generally, the parking system in Indonesia works uneffectively. Similarly, the application of NFC technology area only limited access to member. In the case of full parking building, visitors would feel concerned to find an empty space. One of this solution is to build a mobile application based on NFC technology which would be used to reserve a parking space. By this application, NFC can be extended not only to give member’s access, also for reservation’s functionality. With this, visitors will absolutely get a parking spot. This application is built based on the software prototyping model to produce a prototype in corresponding of the system design from the capabilities, user interface and database. Certainly, it is built with Java programming language for Android and support NFC. The test scenario and the expected results aredetermined to test the success of this prototype. Results of the test proved that the prototype has already working in accordance with the model-based prototyping capability which system design and test scenarios are created. The output from the test has equalled with the expected result that is determined, especially in creating and managing the reservation, as well as NFC functionality to process the reservation according to the schedule.
