Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, proses produksi dari masing – masing industri juga berkembang menjadi lebih canggih dan modern. Barcode merupakan salah satu bentuk perkembangan teknologi dalam proses produksi dan berguna bagi perusahaan manufaktur untuk dapat menyimpan data sehingga dapat terintegrasi dengan baik dalam sebuah sistem. PT Akrilik Kurnia Kencana merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) dan memiliki permasalahan pada Inventory yaitu di gudang finished goods dimana perusahaan tidak memiliki sistem yang baik di dalam gudang finished goods, sedangkan kondisi gudang tidak mendukung akibat kapasitas gudang yang kurang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sistem saat ini yang dijalankan pada PT Akrilik Kurnia Kencana serta merancang sebuah sistem baru yang berbasis aplikasi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dialami oleh PT Akrilik Kurnia Kencana. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara kepada perusahaan untuk mendapatkan data – data yang diperlukan seperti job description karyawan, struktur organisasi, data produk, data produksi, data pelanggan, serta data karyawan. Setelah data terkumpul, maka data akan diolah sedemikian rupa agar data dapat diinterpretasikan dengan baik. Kemudian, setelah data diolah maka data – data tersebut akan digunakan sebagai input dalam merancang aplikasi berbasis sistem manajemen produksi dengan menggunakan metode perancangan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Kemudian dilakukan analisis kelayakan sistem yang terdiri dari analisis kelayakan teknis dan operasional serta pemodelan behavior dan structural. Dengan menggunakan sistem ini, pengguna dapat memantau keberadaan masing - masing finished goods yang pernah di produksi dan masuk ke gudang melalui informasi – informasi yang terkandung di dalam barcode. / As technology develops, the production process of each industry also develops to become more sophisticated and modern. Barcode is a form of technological development in the production process and is useful for manufacturing companies to be able to store data so that it can be well integrated in a system. PT Akrilik Kurnia Kencana is one of the companies engaged in manufacturing EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) and has problems in inventory, namely in finished goods warehouses where the company does not have a good system in finished goods warehouses, while warehouse conditions do not support due to warehouse capacity inadequate. This study aims to identify the current system that is run at PT Akrilik Kurnia Kencana and designing a new system based on an application to solve the problems experienced by PT Akrilik Kurnia Kencana. Data collection is done by the method of observation and interviews with the company to obtain the necessary data such as employee job descriptions, organizational structure, product data, production data, customer data, and employee data. After the data is collected, the data will be processed in such a way that the data can be interpreted properly. Then, after the data is processed, the data will be used as input in designing production management system-based applications using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) design method. Then the system feasibility analysis consists of analysis of technical and operational feasibility and behavior and structural modeling. By using this system, users can monitor the existence of each finished goods that has been produced and enter the warehouse through the information contained in the barcode.
