Abstract

Gaya belajar secara umum dibagi menjadi tiga yaitu auditori, visual, dan kinestetik. Pembelajaran di sekolah di Indonesia lebih banyak menggunakan gaya belajar auditory dan visual. Penelitian Leasa dan kawan-kawan mengatakan bahwa anak usia Sekolah Dasar di Indonesia memiliki kecenderungan gaya belajar kinestetik dibandingkan pada tingkat pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Di luar negeri, gaya belajar kinestetik di sekolah sudah banyak dilakukan sementara di Indonesia masih kurang sarana dan prasarana untuk mendukung gaya pembelajaran kinestetik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang suatu meja kinestetik yang sesuai dengan antropometri anak Sekolah Dasar dan meneliti apakah ada peningkatan nilai score test pada saat menggunakan meja tersebut. Tahap perancangan produk menggunakan teori dari perancangan dan pengembangan produk dari Ulrich dan Eppinger dan data antropometri diperoleh melalui website atropometri indonesia. Pengambilan data selanjutnya dilakukan di sebuah Sekolah Dasar di Tangerang dengan total responden sebanyak 40 untuk memilih meja, dan pada tahap berikutnya 95 responden untuk uji coba dengan menggunakan metode pre-test dan post-test pelajaran Matematika dan IPA, untuk pengaruh meja terhadap peningkatan nilai anak Sekolah Dasar dengan H1 ada pengaruh signifikan pada saat menggunakan meja kinestetik dengan peningkatan nilai nilai dan H0 tidak ada pengaruh signifikan pada saat menggunakan meja kinestetik dengan peningkatan nilai. Berdasarkan data uji coba, didapati hasil statistik untuk score kedua pelajaran tersebut adalah sebesar 0.000 maka H1 diterima, meja kinestetik yang dirancang dalam Skripsi ini berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan nilai anak Sekolah Dasar. / Learning styles are divided into three type. There are auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. In Indonesia visual and auditory are the dominant learning styles. Leasa's and colleagues research say that elementary school children in Indonesia have dominant kinesthetic learning styles compared to higher levels of education. Abroad, kinesthetic learning styles in schools have been widely carried out while in Indonesia there are still lack of facilities and infrastructure to support kinesthetic learning styles. The purpose of this study is to creating a kinesthetic that are compatible with elementary student anthropometry and assess whether there is an increase in exam scores when using these desks. The product design stage uses theories from product design and development from Ulrich and Eppinger and anthropometric data obtained through the Indonesian atropometry website. Data collection was then carried out at the Elementary School in Tangerang with the number of respondents as many as 40 to choose a table, for the next step data collection around 95 respondents are participate for a trial using the pre-test and post-test for Mathematics and Sciences, for a table to support the exchange of grades of school children On the basis of H1 there is a significant effect when using a kinesthetic table with added value and H0 no significant effect when using a kinesthetic table with an increase in value. Based on collected data, based of the statistical result of both subject the value of assymp is 0.000 then H1 is accepted, the kinesthetic table designed in this thesis is important to improve grades of elementary school children.
