Abstract

Di dalam zaman yang sudah semakin modern, pertumbuhan produksi meningkat dengan cepat dan berkembang setiap harinya. Pertumbuhan produktivitas yang disebabkan oleh permintaan konsumen semakin tinggi tersebut membuat produsen harus memproduksi dengan jumlah yang lebih besar untuk memenuhi permintaan tersebut. Dengan adanya peningkatan produksi, potensi pemborosan energi listrik juga semakin tinggi, dan ditambah dengan peningkatan tarif listrik oleh PLN setiap beberapa tahunnya, produsen berpacu untuk mencari cara untuk melakukan penghematan listrik. Salah satu cara untuk mengetahui sumber pemborosan listrik dan mencari potensi penghematan listrik adalah dengan melakukan audit energi lisrik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan audit energi listrik pada mesin – mesin produksi PT X, serta membandingkan penggunaan listrik dengan biaya listrik untuk PLN per bulannya. Ada dua jenis data pada penelitian ini, data umum diperoleh langsung dari perusahaan sementara data khusus didapatkan melalui pengamatan dan pengukuran secara langsung. Setelah dilakukan pengambilan data dan pengamatan, diketahui bahwa penggunaan listrik bulanan selama periode penelitian, didapatkan sumber pemakaian listrik 1 phase terbesar pabrik adalah lampu gantung pabrik. Sementara untuk pemakaian listrik 3 phase terbesar pabrik adalah pada mesin kompresor yang berfungsi untuk menyediakan pasokan compressed air yang digunakan untuk mesin – mesin produksi. Ditemukan juga dua titik kebocoran pada pipa kompresor. Jumlah penghematan yang dapat dilakukan jika pipa kompresor tersebut diperbaiki dengan rata – rata penggunaan untuk satu tahun adalah sebesar Rp 22.100.437. / In an increasingly modern era, production growth is increasing rapidly and growing every day. The productivity growth caused by the higher consumer demand causes producers to produce in greater quantities to meet the demand. With increasing production, the potential for wasteful electricity is also getting higher, and coupled with an increase in electricity tariffs by PLN every few years, producers are racing to find ways to save electricity. One way to find out the source of electricity waste and look for potential electricity savings is to conduct an electrical energy audit. The purpose of this study is to conduct an electrical energy audit on PT X's production machinery, and to compare electricity usage with electricity costs for PLN per month. There are two types of data in this study, general data is obtained directly from the company while special data is obtained through direct observation and measurement. After collecting data and observations, it is known that the monthly electricity usage during the study period, the largest source of electricity consumption obtained for single phase electrical tools is the factory’s chandelier. Whereas for the biggest 3 phase electrical tools consumption is at the compressor machine which serves to provide a steady supply of compressed air used for production machines. Two leak points were also found on the compressor pipe. The amount of savings that can be done after the leakage if the compressor pipe is repaired for a full year is Rp 22.100.473.
