Abstract

Sociolla merupakan pionir e-commerce asal Indonesia yang bergerak dalam dunia kecantikan dan kesehatan. Sociolla melakukan kegiatan operasionalnya secara online melalui website, aplikasi seluler dan juga beragam platform media sosial yang ada, salah satunya adalah Instagram. Melalui fitur-fitur Instagram yang menarik, Sociolla mengikutsertakan pelanggannya dalam hubungan yang interaktif antara keduanya. Hubungan antara perusahaan dan pelanggan yang dijaga dan dibina dengan baik akan menghasilkan loyalitas pelanggan yang merupakan aset bagi perusahaan. Akhirnya para pelanggan yang terhubung dan terlibat secara langsung dengan Sociolla dapat menjadi pelanggan yang loyal yang akan terus memilih Sociolla sebagai tempat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kecantikan dan kesehatan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan tujuan untuk mengukur seberapa besar pengaruh aktivitas media sosial Instagram terhadap online customer engagement Sociolla. Populasi penelitian ini adalah followers akun Instagram Sociolla yang berjumlah 686.000, teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah probability sampling dengan pendekatan simple random sampling yang mengikuti tabel Taro Yamane dengan tingkat presisi 10% dan menghasilkan jumlah sampel 100 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji regresi linear dengan tujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh aktivitas media sosial Instagram terhadap online customer engagement Sociolla. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas media sosial Instagram Sociolla memiliki pengaruh sebesar 56.5% terhadap online customer engagement sehingga mengkonfirmasi teori relationship marketing / Sociolla is a pioneer of beauty and personal care e-commerce business in Indonesia. Sociolla promotes their brand and products by using 3 main digital platforms, namely, websites, mobile application and social media platforms, such as Instagram. Through Instagram’s alluring features Sociolla is able to engage and connect directly with their customer. A positive and interactive bond between a company and its customer can lead to a formation of loyalty. That is why it is imperative for Sociolla to nurture continuous positive and interactive relationship with their customer. This research uses descriptive quantitative method to determine the effect of Sociolla’s Instagram activity on their online customer engagement. The population of this research is Sociolla Instagram followers which is 686.000 followers. Sampling technique applied is a probability sampling with simple random sampling approach using a Taro Yamane table with a 10% precision level whereby 100 respondents are used as sample. Next, the simple linear regression technique is applied to measure the effect of Sociolla's social media activities to their online customer engagement. The result of this research shows that activities on Sociolla’s Instagram has positively affect their online customer engagement by 56.5%, which confirmed a relationship marketing theory.
