Abstract

Berdasarkan kegiatan magang yang dilakukan pemagang pada perusahaan Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta dari Agustus hingga November, pemagang menemukan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaannya dijaman modern ini penting sekali memanfaatkan teknologi digital di dalam perusahaan, dan hal tersebut menjadi perhatian bagi Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi yang dilakukan Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta adalah penggunaan media baru yaitu media sosial Instagram. User-generated conten (UGC)/ konten adalah salah satu yang dihasilkan dari adanya media sosial. UGC/ konten dapat berupa foto, video, audio dan lainnya. Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta memanfaatkan UGC untuk membangun hubungan dengan publik melalu interaksi dengan follower pada Instagram @millenniumhotelsirihjakarta, khususnya pada Instagram story dengan beberapa fitur interaktif seperti fitur polling, fitur quiz, fitur QnA dan lainnya. Pemanfaatan UGC dilakukan melalui beberapa proses produksi diantaranya, pra produksi, produksi dan publishing/penerbitan. Pada tahap publishing itulah muncul feedback secara langsung dari follower Instagram @millenniumhotelsirihjakarta terhadap konten, disaat itu terjadilah interaksi. Secara keseluruhan Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta menyadari bahwa penggunaan media baru seperti Instagram dijaman ini penting untuk membangun hubungan dengan publik pengguna Instagram, oleh sebab itu pemanfaatan UGC cara bagi Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta dalam mencapai tujuannya menjalin interaksi dengan follower @millenniumhotelsirihjakarta di Instagram./ Based on the apprenticeship activities that has been done by the intern at the Millenium Hotel Sirih Jakarta from August until November. Apprentice found that in carrying out her work in modern times it is very important to utilize digital technology within the company and that is a concern for Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta. One of the uses of technology by Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta is the use of new media, namely social media Instagram. User-generated content (UGC)/content is one that results from social media. UGC/ content can be in the form of photos, videos, audio and others. Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta utilizes UGC to build relationships with the public. Through the interactions with followers on instagram @millenniumhotelsirihjakarta, especially on Instagram stories with some interactive features such as polling features, quiz features, QnA features and others. UGC utilization is carried out through several production processes including pre-production, production, and finally publishing. At the publishing stage, there will be direct feedback from @millenniumhotelsirihjakarta instagram followers towards content. that's when interactions occur. Overall, the Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta is aware of the use of new media such as Instagram at this time is important to build relationships with public Instagram users, therefore the use of UGC is the main thing for the Millennium Hotel Sirih Jakarta in achieving its goal of interacting with @millenniumhotelsirihjakarta followers on Instagram.
