Abstract

Setiap Perusahaan memerlukan Public Relations untuk melakukan kegiatan promosi, penjualan dan juga publikasi. Public Relations juga dibutuhkan untuk menjadi penghubung antara perusahaan dengan khalayak luas. kalimat ini didukung dengan definisi Public Relations menurut The British Institute of Public Relations, “Public Relations activity is management of communication between an organization and its publics.” (Rosady,2006, h.15). Seiring perkembangan zaman, pekerjaan daripada Public Relations semakin bervariasi. Bahkan, dibeberapa perusahaan atau organisasi pekerjaan daripada Public Relations bergabung dengan divisi Sales and Marketing atau yang kerap disebut sebagai Marketing Public Relations. Perkembangan zaman dan juga teknologi yang semakin canggih mengakibatkan munculnya gaya hidup masyarakat yang hedonism sehingga pasar harus mengikuti keinginan dan kebutuhan mereka agar tidak kalah bersaing. Marketing Public Relations menurut Kotler (1993,h268) memiliki berbagai peranan penting dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi atau perusahaan. Assistant Marketing Communication Executive di JHL Solitaire Hotel Gading Serpong merupakan orang yang membantu divisi Sales and Marketing saat proses penjualan, publikasi, dan pemasaran. Asssistant Marketing Communication Executive harus dapat menguasai produk dan jasa yang ditawarkan oleh JHL Solitaire Hotel Gading Serpong. / Every company requires public relations to carry out promotional activities, sales and publications. Public Relations are also needed to be a liaison between the company with a wide audience. this sentence is supported by the definition of Public Relations according to The British Institute of Public Relations, "Public Relations activity is management of communication between an organization and its publics." (Rosady, 2006, p.15). Along with the times, the work of Public Relations is increasingly varied. In fact, in some companies or work organizations rather than Public Relations join the Sales and Marketing division or what is often referred to as Public Relations Marketing. The development of the times and also the increasingly sophisticated technology resulted in the emergence of a hedonistic lifestyle of the people so that the market must follow their desires and needs so that they could not compete. Marketing Public Relations according to Kotler (1993, h268) has various important roles in achieving organizational or corporate goals. Assistant Marketing Communication Executive at JHL Solitaire Hotel Gading Serpong is a person who helps the Sales and Marketing division during the sales, publication and marketing process. Assisted Marketing Communication Executives must be able to master the products and services offered by JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong Hotel.
