Abstract

Di era sekarang ini, hampir semua masyarakat telah mempuyai media sosial yang digunakan utuk berkomunikasi dan juga mencari informasi. Tidak hanya masyarakat yang telah menggunakan media sosial, kini banyak media massa yang juga membuat media sosial untuk menyampaikan informasi dan untuk berkomunikasi dengan pendengar atau pembacanya. Radio Cosmopolitan FM salah satu media massa yang mempunyai media sosial yang digunakan sehari-hari untuk berkomunikasi dengan pendengarnya dan juga memberi konten-konten menarik. Dalam menangani media sosial dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia yaitu content creator. Content creator bertugas untuk memberi materi atau konten untuk pembaca Cosmopolitan FM. Setiap konten yang disampaikan harus sesuai dengan target audience Cosmopolitan FM dan juga harus memperhatikan informasi yang disampaikan apakah layak atau tidak untuk dipublikasi. Dari hasil magang dan juga pengamatan dari pemagang, peran seorang content creator sangat penting dalam radio Cosmopolitan FM. Pada Radio Cosmopolitan FM, terdapat pekerja yang berbeda peran, tetapi untuk fokus dalam mengupdate konten pada media sosial belum ada, maka dari itu seorang content creator sangat diperlukan dalam radio Cosmopolitan FM. Dengan adanya content creator, Cosmopolitan dapat mengupdate informasi tanpa harus double job desc dan dapat mempertahankan pendengar melalui media sosial./ In the present era, almost all people have social media used to communicate and also search for information. Not only are people who have used social media, now many mass media are also making social media to convey information and to communicate with listeners or readers. Radio Cosmopolitan FM one of the mass media has social media that is used daily to communicate with its listeners and also give interesting content. In handling social media it takes human resources is a content creator. The Content Creator is tasked to update the information for Cosmopolitan FM readers. Any information submitted must correspond to the Cosmopolitan FM target audience and should also pay attention to the information submitted whether it is feasible or not to published. From internships and observations, the role of a content creator is essential to the Cosmopolitan FM radio. On Radio Cosmopolitan FM, there are different worker roles, but there is no people to focus on updating content on social media, therefore, a content creator is indispensable in Cosmopolitan FM radio. With the content creator, Cosmopolitan can update the information without having to double job desc and can maintain listeners through social media.
