Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan aktivitas yang sangat penting dalam segala macam kegiatan, baik itu dalam aktivitas interpersonal, massa, ataupun aktivitas yang sudah memiliki struktur seperti di dalam sebuah organisasi / perusahaan. Perusahaan memiliki peran yang sangat besar dalam memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi sebuah negara dan juga kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Diperlukan personil untuk mengawasi segala kegiatan komunikasi dalam perusahaan. Kegiatan magang dilakukan di PT Juri Indah Abadi yang berlokasi di Jepara, Jawa Tengah. Dimana kegiatan magang memiliki keterkaitan dengan kegiatan internal communication. Fokus dari kegiatan magang ini adalah untuk menganalisa kegiatan internal communication yang dilakukan di PT Juri Indah Abadi. Kesimpulan yang didapat, PT Juri Indah Abadi belum menjalani aktivitas internal communication dengan baik, tidak terimplementasinya chain-of-command dalam komunikasi direktif, belum adanya divisi komunikasi yang independen, dan mayoritas bentuk komunikasi yang digunakan adalah dalam bentuk komunikasi informal. / Communication is a very important in any kind of activities, be in the form of interpersonal, mass, or even in a structured form such as a company / organization. Companies have a positive impact regarding to the nation’s economy, and also the citizen’s welfare. A specialized personnel is needed to supervise all communication activities. The internship was done at PT Juri Indah Abadi located at Jepara, Central Java. All internship activities have a correlation with internal communication activities. The goal of the internship was to analyze the internal communication activities at PT Juri Indah Abadi. In conclusion, PT Juri Indah Abadi has not operate a good internal communication activities, due to the unimplemented chain-of-command in directive communication, no independent communication division, and the majority of communication in said company was in the form of informal communication.
