Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, perangkat-perangkat elektronik dalam rumah dapat dikembangkan menjadi perangkat yang “cerdas” sehingga dapat dikendalikan oleh suara kapanpun dan dari manapun oleh pemilik rumah. Dengan mengucapkan suatu frasa tertentu kepada perangkat elektronik seperti telepon cerdas yang terhubung ke internet, perintah tersebut dapat dijalankan oleh perangkat-perangkat rumah seperti misalnya frasa “nyalakan lampu” untuk menyalakan lampu tertentu pada rumah tersebut. Hal ini dapat dilakukan karena perkembangan teknologi internet of things (IoT) dan teknologi voice recognition atau pengenalan suara. Pada penelitian ini telah dibuat dan didemonstrasikan suatu sistem rumah cerdas yang bisa diperintah lewat suara dengan menggunakan modul WiFi transceiver ESP8266 untuk koneksi ke internet, Arduino sebagai mikrokontroler, dan juga menggunakan platform Google Assistant untuk pengenalan suara dan Blynk sebagai server IoT. Sebagai jembatan mesin ke mesin (M2M) antara Google Assistant dan Blynk digunakan server logikal IFTT (if this then that). Sistem serupa juga dibuat dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler NodeMCU dalam pekerjaan ini. Pada pekerjaan ini, ada 3 perangkat utama yang dapat dikontrol yaitu lampu, jendela cerdas, dan motor servo untuk menggerakkan pintu. Eksperimen dilakukan terhadap sistem yang dibangun telah memberikan beberapa hasil. Sistem yang telah dibangun mampu mengenali 24 frasa dalam Bahasa Inggris dan 12 frasa dalam Bahasa Indonesia pada saat Google Assistant dikonfigurasi secara bilingual. Ketika memberikan perintah dalam Bahasa Inggris dan perangkat terhubung kepada suatu jaringan internet yang baik, Google Assistant dapat mengenali perintah dengan baik dan mengeksekusi perintah dengan segera (rata-rata 4 detik untuk mengenali, 25ms untuk menjalankan perintah). Terhadap sistem juga sudah dilakukan uji coba dengan 22 responden laki-laki dan 20 responden perempuan orang Indonesia. Dari hasil yang didapat, perintah dalam Bahasa Inggris memiliki tingkat rekognisi terendah adalah 58% dan yang tertinggi adalah 99%. Sedangkan perintah dalam Bahasa Indonesia, tingkat rekognisi terendah adalah 70% dan yang tertinggi adalah 99%. / Along with the development of technology, electronics in the home can be developed into “smart” devices so that they can be controlled by voice whenever and from wherever by the homeowners. By saying a certain phrase to an electronic device such as a smartphone connected to the internet, the command can be carried out by home devices such as “turn on the light” phrase to turn on certain light in the house. This is enabled by the development of internet of things (IoT) technology and the voice recognition technology. In this work, a smart home that can be controlled by voice was made and demonstrated using the ESP8266 WiFi transceiver module for connection to internet, Arduino as a microcontroller, and uses Google Assistant for voice recognition and Blynk as the IoT server. IFTTT (if this then that) logical server was used as a machine to machine (M2M) bridge between Google Assistant and Blynk. A similar system was also made using a NodeMCU microcontroller in this work. In this work, there are 3 main devices that can be controlled namely lamps, smart windows, and servo motors to move the door. Experiments carried out on the developed system gave several results. The system was able to recognize 24 phrases in English and 12 phrases in Bahasa Indonesia when Google Assistant was configured in bilingual mode. When giving a command using English and the device was connected to a fast internet network, the Google Assistant can recognize the command correctly immediately (4 seconds to recognize, 25ms to execute commands in average). The system has also been tested with 22 male respondents and 20 female respondents of Indonesia. The results show that commands in English have the lowest recognition rate of 58% and the highest of 99%. Meanwhile, commands in Bahasa Indonesia have the lowest recognition rate of 70% and the highest of 99%.
