Abstract

Pencatatan persediaan menyebabkan ketersediaan informasi penyewaan menjadi tidak akurat. Hal ini mengakibatkan pengendalian internal menjadi kurang efektif. Tugas akhir ini membahas U-PRO Sound & Lighting yang merupakan rental yang belum memiliki sistem pencatatan dalam pengelolaan persediaan dan penjadwalan yang terstruktur. Hal ini menyebabkan adanya kejadian seperti barang hilang, tertinggal, serta sulitnya melakukan penjadwalan untuk menentukan persediaan. Disamping itu, proses perancangan penawaran juga menyebabkan pemilik harus mencari dan membuka penawaran serupa sebelumnya untuk dijadikan patokan. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk merancang sebuah sistem persediaan dan penyewaan sound system dan lighting yang saling terintegrasi, serta sistem rekomendasi yang membantu proses perancangan penawaran, kemudian mengontrol dan mengelola status persediaan rental secara riil. Metodologi pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah RAD dengan metode Prototyping. Pemrograman website dirancang menggunakan framework CodeIgniter, Bootstrap, RDBMS PHPMyAdmin, bundle MAMP, serta IDE Visual Studio Code. Teknik pengujian yang digunakan adalah Black Box Testing. Metode Case-based reasoning dengan rumus Similarity juga diterapkan untuk mendapatkan rekomendasi akan penawaran yang serupa. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah sistem persediaan, rekomendasi, dan penyewaan dalam bentuk website yang menyeluruh. Sistem persediaan dan penyewaan yang mencatat barang dan kondisinya dari setiap persediaan yang dimiliki, serta setelah selesai acara. Fitur pengecekan persediaan dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pengecekan persediaan yang dapat digunakan pada kurun waktu tertentu. Sistem rekomendasi berbasis Case-based reasoning dengan rumus Similarity telah diterapkan untuk mempermudah pemilik dalam menanggapi permintaan penyewaan dalam bentuk penawaran. / Recording is an important aspect in rental. The absence of inventory records causes rental information inaccurate, and internal control less effective. This final project discusses U-PRO Sound & Lighting which is a rental that doesn't have a recording system in inventory and scheduling. This causes inventory lost, left behind, and difficulty in the scheduling process. Besides, the process of designing a quotation causes the owner to find and open a similar quotation beforehand to be used as a benchmark. The purpose of this final project is to design an integrated inventory and rental system, as well as a recommendation system that helps in the process of designing quotation, also controlling the rental inventory status in real-time. RAD is used as the system development methodology with the Prototyping method. Website programming in this final project is designed using the CodeIgniter framework, Bootstrap, PHPMyAdmin RDBMS, MAMP bundle, and Visual Studio Code IDE. The testing technique used is Black Box Testing. Case-based reasoning method with the Similarity formula is applied to get recommendations for similar offers. The result of this final project is a system of inventory, recommendations, and rentals in form of a website. Inventory and rental system that records items and conditions of each inventory held, as well as after the event. Inventory checking feature can be used to check inventory available at a certain period. Case-based reasoning recommendation system with Similarity formula has been implemented to facilitate the owner in responding to rental requests in the form of quotation.
