Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan meneliti lebih dalam tentang Manajemen Konflik yang dilakukan oleh para Admin Komunitas Marvel Indonesia, terutama pada Facebook Groupnya. Penelitian ini juga diangkat karena belum ada literatur mengenai pembahasan Manajemen Konflik yang diterapkan pada komunitas online yang berbasiskan Sub-Kultur Fandom, terutama Fandom Marvel. Penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka berfikir yang diambil dari Manajemen Konflik, serta menggunakan paradigma interpretive descriptive dan merupakan penelitan yang berjenis Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui in-depth interview, observasi serta studi literatur sebagai sumber data sekundernya. Informan berjumlah 6 orang yang semuanya adalah anggota dari Komunitas Marvel Indonesia Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Manajemen Konflik dapat dilakukan oleh komunitas yang bersifat online sekalipun, walaupun secara geografis, para anggotanya banyak yang memiliki perbedaan lokasi, dengan peran serta administratornya. Walaupun memiliki kesamaan minat, ternyata masih belum menjadikan sebuah jaminan untuk menghindari konflik. Temuan dalam penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa komunikasi dalam rangka mencegah terjadinya konflik, tidak hanya dilaksanakan secara internal, namun juga lintas komunitas. / This study aims to see and examine more deeply about Conflict Management conducted by the Admin of Indonesian Marvel Community, especially on their Facebook Group. This research is also based on the lack of literature on the discussion of Conflict Management that is applied to online communities based on the Fandom Sub-Culture, especially Marvel Fandom. This study uses a thinking framework based on Conflict Management and uses an interpretive descriptive paradigm and is belong to the qualitative research category. Data collection techniques used in this research are through in-depth interviews, observations and literature studies as secondary data sources. Six informants, who were included in this research, are all members of the Indonesian Marvel Community. The results of this study indicate that Conflict Management can be executed even by online communities, even though the majority of its members are geographically separated on different locations and sites, with the help of its administrator. Even though this ideology of common interests still does not guarantee the prevention of conflict. The findings in this study also reveal that communication, in the context of preventing conflicts, does not only take place internally, but can also be conducted across other communities.
