Abstract

In the era of modernization and globalization, Indonesia is in an extremely dynamic progress especially in the construction sector. Indonesia is a country that adheres to a centralized government system, so the entire project development is concentrated in the capital city. It is trigerred due the narrowing of green open space land designation is used as the object of the construction of office building, shopping centers, and residential shelter the fulfillment of the primary needs of the community. The lastest case to be a concrete example of the unavailability of cementery occurred in the capital district. One interesting thing of the unavailability of cementery occurred is the practice of buying and selling cementery plots. San Diego Hills Memorial Park is the potential industry of buying and selling a cementery plot. The potential buyers will be awarded a freehold certificate over the ownership. The certificate can be resold or transferred to a third party. This is a new thing for the investment properties where in a burial ground can be a valuable investment. Need to be reviewed is the regulations on the sale and purchase of cementery ground that valid in Indonesia. Managing of cementery ground also can be owned by a foundation for social purposes.
