Abstract

Event Organizer (EO) merupakan salah satu jasa yang dapat ditemukan di Internet yang memiliki tugas yaitu untuk membantu menyelenggarakan acara sesuai dengan permintaan klien. Penggunaan jasa EO yang sesuai merupakan faktor penting dalam kesuksesan suatu acara. Perkembangan EO yang semakin meningkat di Indonesia menyebabkan jasa EO semakin dibutuhkan. Namun, minimnya informasi yang disediakan dan sistem pencarian jasa EO yang masih kurang efektif menjadi tantangan dalam memilih EO yang tepat. Di pihak lain, kesulitan juga dialami oleh para EO yang baru memulai bisnisnya, khususnya dalam menawarkan jasanya. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi yang dapat membantu EO dalam menawarkan jasanya serta membantu klien dalam memperoleh informasi EO yang tersedia sebelum memutuskan menggunakan jasanya. Pembangunan aplikasi untuk layanan jasa event organizer ini menggunakan metodologi pengembangan sistem Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan metode prototyping dan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Pengembangan aplikasi dimodelkan dalam UML versi 2.5 dengan use case diagram, activity diagram, dan class diagram. Fitur pemberian rekomendasi EO yang terdapat dalam aplikasi ini menggunakan metode Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) untuk menentukan nilai bobot pada setiap kriteria EO, yang kemudian akan diolah sehingga menghasilkan rekomendasi EO dalam urutan peringkat sesuai preferensi klien. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah suatu aplikasi berbasis web untuk layanan jasa event organizer. Tujuan aplikasi ini adalah untuk mempermudah pencarian jasa EO dengan membantu menghubungkan klien dengan EO, menyediakan berbagai fitur yang dapat digunakan oleh klien maupun EO dalam melakukan interaksi dan memulai kegiatan transaksi. / Event Organizer (EO) is one of the services that can be found on the Internet that helps to organize events according to client’s requests. Using the appropriate event organizer is one of the key to a successful event. The increasing development of EO in Indonesia results in higher demand of EO services. However, the lack of information provided and the ineffective search system for EO services are the challenges in choosing the right EO. On the other hand, EOs who are just starting their business also face some difficulties, especially in offering their services. Therefore, an application is needed to help EOs in offering their services and assist clients in choosing the right service by providing thorough EO information. The development of this application for event organizer services uses Rapid Application Development (RAD) system methodologies with prototyping method and PHP programming language. The application development is modelled in UML version 2.5, with the use of use case diagram, activity diagram, and class diagram. The EO recommendation feature in this application uses Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) method to determine the weighted value for each EO criteria, which will be processed further to give EO recommendations with their ranks based on client’s preferences. The result of this final project is a web-based application for event organizer services. The purposes are to simplify the search system for EO services by connecting clients and EOs, providing various features that can be used by both clients and EOs to interact and initiate transaction activities.
