Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya sektor perindustrian, persaingan pun semakin ketat. Baik persaingan dari segi biaya, desain, fitur dan inovasi lainnya. Namun demikian, masih sedikit perusahaan yang sadar akan pentingnya pengembangan pada manajemen perawatan mesin. Beberapa metode yang efektif digunakan dalam perawatan mesin adalah Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) dan Predictive Maintenance (PM). CBM berfokus kepada monitoring kondisi mesin yang sesungguhnya, sedangkan PM menggunakan hasil monitoring tersebut untuk melakukan prediksi kedepan. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan monitoring dengan metode vibration analysis karena metode ini paling efektif digunakan untuk rotating machinery, dimana mesin pompa yang dijadikan sebagai objek penelitian adalah rotating machinery. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah accelerometer untuk merekam data getaran pada mesin pompa dan dihitung nilai Root Mean Square(RMS) untuk dibandingkan dengan standar ISO 10816. Selain itu juga digunakan Fast Fourier Transformation untuk mengelompokan masing-masing getaran berdasarkan frekuensinya untuk memudahkan dalam menganalisis kerusakan pada mesin. Pengolahan dan penyajian data pada penelitian ini menggunakan software Python. Pada penelitian ini, predictive maintenance hanya dilakukan pada mesin pompa 3 karena mesin tersebut masih memiliki nilai RMS yang baik menurut ISO 10816. Mesin pompa 1 dengan nilai RMS sebesar 5.36 mm/s, mesin pompa 2 dengan nilai RMS sebesar 14.63 mm/s, Mesin pompa 3 dengan nilai RMS sebesar 0.99 mm/s. Kondisi mesin pompa 1, 2 dan 3 menurut standar ISO 10816 berturut-turut adalah unacceptable, unacceptable dan satisfactory. Selain itu, pada mesin pompa 1 terdapat indikasi unbalance akibat adanya bagian yang patah pada pulley dinamo. Kemudian, pada mesin pompa 2 terdapat indikasi mechanical looseness disebabkan karena penyangga yang sudah rapuh dan pada mesin pompa 3 terdapat indikasi bent shaft. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa usulan perbaikan untuk perusahaan yaitu agar perusahaan melakukan perbaikan segera pada mesin pompa 1 dengan mengganti pulley yang patah, mengganti penyangga pada mesin pompa 2 dan mengganti shaft mesin pompa 3 saat nilai RMS sudah diluar batas rekomendasi ISO 10816. = Nowadays, competition in terms of cost, design, features and other innovations are growing within the industrial sector. However, there is still few companies that aware of the importance of developing a good maintenance system. Some effective methods used in maintenance are Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and Predictive Maintenance (PM). CBM urges to monitor the actual condition of the engine, while PM uses the results of this monitoring to make future predictions. In this study, monitoring was carried out with a vibration analysis method because this method is the most effective method used for rotating machinery, which happens to be the object of this study. This study used an accelerometer to record vibration data of the engine and then used to calculate the Root Mean Square (RMS) value of the vibration and then comparing it with the RMS value standard of ISO 10816. This study also uses fast Fourier transformation to group each vibration to its frequency, this way we could analyze the damage to the engine. This study uses Python software to process and interpret the data. In this study, predictive maintenance only carried out on pump 3 engines because this machine still in good conditions according to the corresponding RMS values which are still within ISO 10816 Recommendation. Pumping machine 1 with RMS value of 5.36 mm / s, engine pump 2 with RMS value of 14.63 mm / s, Engine pump 3 with RMS value of 0.99 mm / s. The conditions of pump machines 1, 2 and 3 according to ISO 10816 are respectively unacceptable, unacceptable and satisfactory. Meanwhile, it was found that in pump 1 engine there's an indication of unbalance. Then, in pump 2 engine there's an indication of mechanical looseness due to broken engine support and in Pump 3 engine there’s and indication of bent shaft. The results of this study consisted of advice for the company, namely that the company immediately repair the pump 1 machine by replacing the broken pulley, replace the support on the pump 2 engine and replace the shaft on pump 3 when the RMS value is outside of ISO 10816 recommendation.
