Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan waktu yang paling optimal untuk pengeringan cat dalam oven, serta melakukan audit energi untuk membuktikan kebenaran dari tagihan listrik bulanan PLN. Analisis efisiensi waktu pemakaian oven dilakukan melalui eksperimen yang melihat perubahan berat cat terhadap waktu dalam oven akibat menguapnya solvent. Kemudian melakukan pendataan daya yang digunakan untuk tiap alat elektronik dalam bengkel, yang kemudian akan dikalikan dengan frekuensi pemakaian dalam satu bulan untuk menghasilkan tagihan listrik aktual. Dalam penelitian waktu optimal pengeringan oven dibutuhkan sampel penelitian berupa plat seng yang dicat putih, yang kemudian akan dimasukkan dalam oven dan diamati perubahan beratnya setiap 5 menit selama 30 menit. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam tahap pemanasan muncul suatu pola dimana 10 menit pertama terjadi pengurangan berat signifikan, dan setelah 10 menit hampir tidak ada perubahan. Melalui percobaan ditemukan bahwa waktu optimal untuk mengeringkan cat adalah 25 menit dalam oven. Melalui pengurangan waktu pemakaian oven 5 menit ini, muncul kesempatan penghematan gas LPG sebesar 33% dan listrik akibat ventilator sebesar 16.67%. Berdasarkan hasil dari audit listrik ditemukan penyimpangan tagihan listrik PLN sekitar 3 juta rupiah dengan tagihan aktual pada bulan Juni, dimana pemakaian listrik aktual pada bulan Juni lebih sedikit akibat adanya cuti lebaran. Kemudian ditemukan sumber pemakaian listrik terbesar adalah ventilator untuk kedua oven dalam bengkel. / This study aims to find the most optimal time for drying paint in the oven, as well as conducting an energy audit to prove the equivalance of PLN's monthly electricity bill. Analysis of the efficiency of the use of the oven was carried out through experiments that saw changes in the weight of the paint to the time in the oven due to the evaporation of the solvent. Then do the data collection of power used for each electronic device in the workshop, which will then be multiplied by the frequency of usage in one month to produce the actual electricity bill. In the research, the optimum oven drying time required a research sample in the form of a zinc plate painted white, which will then be inserted in the oven and observed changes in weight every 5 minutes for 30 minutes. The results of this study indicate that in the warm-up phase a pattern appears where the first 10 minutes of significant weight reduction occur, and after 10 minutes there is almost no change. Through experiments it was found that the optimal time to dry paint is 25 minutes in the oven. Through this reduction in the use of the 5-minute oven, there is an opportunity to save LPG gas by 33% and electricity caused by ventilator by 16.67%. Based on the results of the electricity audit found a deviation of around 3 million rupiah between PLN electricity bills with actual bills in June, where actual electricity consumption in June was less due to Lebaran leave. Then found the biggest source of electricity is the ventilator for both ovens in the workshop.
