Abstract

Setiap universitas pastinya ingin menjaga hubungan yang baik dengan alumni mereka. Sebuah universitas pastinya mau memberikan dukungan bagi para alumni mereka bahkan setelah lulus. Seperti di Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), salah satu dukungan yang diberikan bagi para alumni merupakan memudahkan alumni mencari pekerjaan dengan memasang lowongan pekerjaan pada website Career Center UPH. Akan tetapi berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan salah satu staf Career Center UPH untuk saat ini Career Center UPH masih belum memiliki sistem yang memungkinkan proses pemasangan lowongan pekerjaan dan pendaftaran lowongan kerja dikerjakan dalam satu sistem yang sama. Untuk saat ini proses pemasangan lowongan yang dilakukan antara Career Center UPH dan perusahaan masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga memakan waktu yang lama. Tidak hanya itu, untuk saat ini website Career Center UPH hanya memungkinkan penggunanya untuk melihat informasi lowongan tanpa bisa mendaftarkan diri. Maka dari itu diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu proses pemasangan lowongan pekerjaan dan memungkinkan penggunanya untuk mendaftarkan diri kepada lowongan yang tersedia. Metodologi pengembangan sistem yang akan digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan menggunakan metode prototyping. Sedangkan pemodelan sistem yang akan digunakan adalah UML yaitu use case diagram, activity diagram, entity relationship diagram dan class diagram. Hasil akhir dari tugas akhir ini adalah website yang memungkinkan perusahaan memasang lowongan pekerjaan dan memungkinkan alumni mendaftarkan diri pada lowongan yang ada. Website yang dibuat juga akan membantu pihak Career Center UPH dalam proses pemasangan lowongan pekerjaan dan mengelola website mereka. / Every university most certainly wants to maintain a good relationship with their alumni. A university definitely wants to provide support for their alumni after they graduate. Likewise, at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), one of the support given to the alumni is by posting job vacancies on the UPH Career Center website. However, based on the results of interviews with one of the UPH Career Center staff, for the time being, the UPH Career Center still does not have a system that allows the process of posting job vacancies and job registration to be done in the same system. For now the installation process of vacancies carried out between UPH Career Center and the company is still done manually so it takes a long time. Not only that, for now the UPH Career Center website only allows users to view job information without being able to register. Therefore a system that can help the process of posting job vacancies and allowing users to register for available vacancies is needed. The system development methodology that will be used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) using the prototyping method. While the system modeling that will be used is UML, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, entity relationship diagrams and class diagrams. The final result of this final project is a website that allows companies to post job vacancies and allow alumni to register for existing vacancies. The website will also help UPH Career Centers in the process of posting job vacancies and managing their websites.
