Abstract

Dewasa ini, sudah banyak sekali teknik yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan sebuah website, salah satunya adalah gamification. Website yang dimiliki Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Pelita Harapan belum menerapkan gamification. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang telah dikumpulkan, saat ini Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Pelita Harapan memiliki website yang tidak menyediakan banyak fitur yang dapat digunakan bagi pengunjung dan memiliki tampilan yang kurang menarik. Salah satu cara untuk menghasilkan sebuah website yang menarik adalah dengan menerapkan gamification. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus kepada penerapan konsep gamification pada website Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Pelita Harapan dalam membuat sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat mengolah data mahasiswa, data mata kuliah, data titles dan data badges. Metodologi pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rapid Application Development dengan metode pendekatan evolutionary prototyping. Hasil dari penelitian adalah sebuah aplikasi yang dibuat dengan menggunakan PHP dan basis data MySQL yang dapat memvisualisasikan data mahasiswa dalam bentuk yang telah di gamify. Aplikasi yang dibuat juga dapat mempermudah admin untuk memasukkan data mahasiswa tersebut dalam bentuk file berupa file excel, hal ini dapat mengurangi resiko terjadinya kesalahan admin dalam memasukkan data mahasiswa. / Nowadays, there are many techniques used in developing a website, one of them technique is gamification. The website which are owned by Pelita Harapan University‟s Faculty of Computer Science have not yet implemented gamification. Based on the results of the questionnaire, currently Pelita Harapan University‟s Faculty of Computer Science have a website that does not provide many features and have an unattractive interface design. One of the ways to produce an attractive website is to apply gamification. Therefore, this research focuses on applying the gamification concept on the website of Pelita Harapan University‟s Faculty of Computer Science in creating an information system that can process student data, course data, and badges data. The system development methodology used in this research is Rapid Application Development with the evolutionary prototyping approach. The outcome of the research is an application which was created using PHP and MySQL database that can visualize data in a form that has been gamified. The application can also eases admin to enter student‟s data in the form of an excel file, this can reduce the risk of admin entering student‟s data mistakenly.
