Abstract

Indonesia menempati posisi sebagai Negara dengan penggunaan internet tertinggi ke enam di dunia sebanyak 132.700.000 pengguna. Melihat tingginya jumlah pengguna internet mengakibatkan adanya beberapa pergeseran salah satunya dalam konteks ekonomi. Maraknya aktivitas belanja online membuat PT Matahari Department Store Tbk mengembangkan usahanya dari offline menjadi online. Adanya peralihan dari offline menjadi online tentu dirasa akan ada peralihan nilai budaya. Jika adanya peralihan nilai budaya tentu akan mempengaruhi work ethics dari para pekerja. Nilai budaya perusahaan dirasa akan mempengaruhi perilaku setiap anggota organisasi. Melalui penelitian ini ingin dilihat bagaimana sosialisasi nilai budaya perusahaan dalam membentuk work ethics divisi e-commerce PT Matahari Department Store Tbk. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan tehnik wawancara, sedangan pengumpulan data sekunder menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Wawancara dilakukan dengan para pekerja divisi e-commerce PT Matahari Department Store Tbk yang mengerti mengenai nilai budaya perusahaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bagaimana proses sosialisasi nilai budaya membentuk work ethics dari divisi e-commerce PT Matahari Department Store Tbk. / Indonesia is ranked as the sixth highest internet usage country in the world with 132.7 million users. The high number of internet users has resulted in some shifts, one of them is in economic context. The rise of online shopping activities has made PT Matahari Deparment Store Tbk expand its business from offline to online. The transition from offline to online will certainly shift cultural values. If there is a shift in cultural values it will certainly affect employees work ethics. The cultural value of corporate will affect the behavior or each member of the organization. Through this research, the objective is to see how corporate socialize cultural values in forming the work ethics of E-commerce department, PT Matahari Department Store Tbk. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Primary data collection is collected through interviewing activities. While, secondary data collection uses library research. Interviews were conducted with employees of E-commerce department PT Matahari Department Store Tbk, who understand the corporate culture values. The result of this study shows the process of socializing cultural values in forming work ethics of e-commerce department in PT Matahari Department Store Tbk
