Abstract
Pong game is one of the earliest arcade video games, the game was originally manufactured by Atari Inc. Pong game based on table tennis (ping pong), which is the name of the game derived from the sound produced by hitting the ping pong balls. Pong game is a two-dimensional video game that can only be played by two players, player can play with AI (Artificial Intelligence) or play with other players within a single device. In this thesis a multiplayer Android game, named MultiPong is developed. This mobile game can serve up to four players to play it simultaneously using four different devices. The author implemented MultiPong by using router as the access point to connect four devices separately with Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) network. The differences embodied in MultiPong are the number of player i.e. four peoples, four obstacles, four goalposts and lastly it can be played using four different mobile devices simultaneously. Having realized that MultiPong is played using four different devices and using router as meeting point, there is a possibility that both memory and bandwidth use will be exhaustive. To anticipate the raise in bandwidth required, the author's approach to the solution is by applying one-way connection and using raster image rather than vector image. MultiPong is developed using Adobe Flash CS6 and tested using Adobe Scout CC, the test result shows delay and data usage decreased.
