Abstract

This Thesis in generally discuss about the impact of an invasion towards the bilateral relations under the leader of Russia President Vladimir Putin and the leader of USA President Barack Obama. Formally, Russia’s invasion in Crimea has been present by Russia on March 2014 after the long debate between Russia and Ukraina. Russia’s action on Crimea made a reaction from the President of ISA who said that Russia has been broke the sovereignty of Ukraina. Since that statement had been published, the bilateral relation between Russia and America had increasingly tension and finally make some effect to their political and economic relations. This thesis discuss about two question, first what is the impact of russia’s invasion on political relations between Russia and America after Russia’s invasion in Crimea, second what is the impact on economic relation between Russia and USA after the Russia’s invasion on Crimea. The tension of political on both country and decreasing of their GDP also will be discussed in this thesis. These question explained with the neorealism theory and concept of balance of power and national interest. Generally this thesis using the qualitative research methods with combining the historical relations and foreign policy between Russia and America today. To answer the first question the writer will interview some people who expert on this issues and connect it to the article about the statement from the side who involve in this dispute and the theory. The second question will be answer by the action from Russia and America to keep their power and national interest.
