Abstract

Bangunan Gereja Pelita Community Jambi dulunya merupakan rumah tinggal Pdt. Yulius Ahiong yang digunakan untuk perintisan Gereja Pelita Community Jambi. Bangunan ini sekarang telah direnovasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan aktivitas dan tempat tinggal penggurus gereja, serta berfungsi sebagai tempat ibadah dan sebagai kantor seketariat dari Gereja Pelita Community Jambi. Untuk memaksimalkan fungsi bangunan ini dalam mengakomodasi beragam aktivitas, maka akan dilakukan penataan ulang dalam mendesain interior dan arsitektur di bangunan ini. Penataan ulang desain pada interior dan arsitektur bangunan dilakukan dengan fokus kepada tiga aspek (Identitas Gereja Karismatik, Kapasitas, Program Ruang dan Sirkulasi) yang didapat dari hasil survey dan penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis. Penyelesaian dari ketiga aspek ini dilakukan untuk membuat pengalaman ruang yang baru, sehingga membuat interior dan arsitektur dari bangunan menunjukan identitas dan karakteristik dari Gereja kepada pengguna, serta mampu untuk menampung jumlah jemaat pada lima tahun mendatang. Dari hasil implementasi penyelesaian masalah tersebut terhadap desain ruangan dan bangunan di Gereja Pelita Community, maka diharapkan setiap aktivitas dari pengguna bangunan ini dapat dimaksimalkan serta identitas dari gereja ini dapat lebih tersampaikan lewat desain yang diaplikasikan. / Jambi Pelita Community Church building was once the residence of Ps. Yulius Ahiong that used for the Pelita Community Church in Jambi. This building has now been renovated to meet the needs of activities and residence of church administrators, as well as a place to worship and as an office of Jambi Pelita Community Seketariat. To maximize the function of this building to accommodate various activities, a restructuring will carry out in designing the interior and architecture of this building. The rearrangement of design in the interior and architecture of buildings is done with a focus on three main aspects (Charismatic Church Identity, Capacity, Space and Circulation Program) obtained from the results of surveys and research conducted by the author. The solution of these three main aspects is done to create a new space experience, so that the interior and architecture of the building will reveal the true identity and characteristics of the Church to the user, and be able to accommodate the number of congregations in the next five years. The results from the implementation of the solution to the design of the space and building in Pelita Community Church, it is expected that each activity of the users of this building can be maximized and the identity of this church can be delivered more through the applied design.
