Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya zaman membuat gaya hidup manusia berubah dari waktu ke waktu. Gaya hidup manusia pada era ini kurang kontak dengan alam karena aktivitas diluar rumah hanya untuk bekerja di gedung tanpa lapangan hijau. Tuntutan pekerjaan juga membuat stress terutama bagi wanita yang harus menjaga penampilan agar tetap menarik sehingga membutuhkan perawatan lebih. Wanita dapat melakukan perawatan pada rumah spa sekaligus melepas penat, namun rumah spa yang tersedia zaman sekarang kurang memperhatikan konsep ruang terbuka hijau sebagai wadah yang menghubungkan manusia dengan alam karena koneksi manusia dengan alam telah terbukti memberi manfaat baik bagi pengobatan dan kesehatan yang disebut dengan istilah biophilia. Dalam merancang spa khusus wanita yang terletak di gedung tinggi berfokus pada perawatan relaksasi untuk wanita karir karena letak spa yang berada pada kawasan perkantoran. Meskipun letak spa indoor pada gedung tinggi namun konsep biophilic akan menjadi konsep utama dalam elemen desain sehingga dapat menciptakan suasana ruang hijau. Selain itu karena aktivitas spa juga berhubungan erat dengan panca indera manusia maka konsep multisensori juga di implementasikan dalam desain. / Human lifestyle changes from time to time. This era’s lifestyle made human less contact to nature because of less open green space in buildings. Woman in this time works as hard as men making them as stressfull as others that woman needs to do extra self care. Woman goes to spa to relieve stress but spa these days don’t provide green space as a space to relieve pain and stress from working. However nature has proven itself for cure and stress relief that is called by the term of biophilia. In designing spa house for woman that specifically works as a business woman focusses at healing and relieving because the site is located at office zone. Although the spa is located indoor in a high rise building but biophilic will be the main concept. Elements from biophilic design will be implemented to make nature ambience. All main activites from spa connects directly with human sense which is why multisensory concept is also implemented in the design.
