Abstract

Salah satu cara untuk mengembangkan perfilman Indonesia adalah dengan ikut berpartisipasi menghasilkan sebuah karya yang baik. Oleh karena itu, Tugas akhir penulis adalah berperan sebagai Director of Photography dalam film dokumenter pendek yang berjudul “Tatung” Film dokumenter ini menceritakan tentang kebudyaan Tionghoa yaitu Tatung. Tatung dikenal sebagai orang yang memiliki anugrah yang tidak dimiliki oleh manusia pada umumnya, namun permasalahan yang akan diangkat dalam film ini adalah mengenai sisi yang berbeda dari seorang Tatung. Dimana mereka harus menghadapi berbagai macam bahaya akibat dari menjadi seorang Tatung. Maka dari itu para Tatung tidak ingin mendokumentasikan ritual yang sedang mereka lakukan, apabila video tersebut tersebar luas, kemungkinan akan banyak bahaya yang akan mereka hadapi, tetapi berbeda dengan Tatung Ki Dempo. Beliau selalu melakukan saran langsung ketika ritual siaran. Hal ini dilakukan untuk melestarikan kebudayaan Tatung tersebut. Beberapa hal terasa cukup sensitif dan unik maka dari itu penulis bertugas untuk mewujudkan visual yang menarik. Sebagai director of photography, penulis bertugas untuk memperhatikan framing, angle, kamera, komposisi gambar, pencahayaan serta alat yang akan digunakan ketika produksi. / One of the ways to develop Indonesian cinema is to participate in producing a good work. Therefore, the final task of the writer is to act as Director of Photography in a short documentary titled "Tatung" This documentary tells about Chinese culture, Tatung. Tatung is known as a person who has a gift that is not possessed by humans in general, but the problem that will be raised in this film is about the different sides of a Tatung. Where they have to face various kinds of dangers as a result of being a Tatung. Therefore the Tatung do not want to document the ritual they are doing, if the video is widespread, it is likely that there will be many dangers they have to face, but it is different from Tatung Ki Dempo. He always makes direct suggestions when broadcasting rituals. This was done to preserve the Tatung culture. Some things are quite sensitive and unique, so the writer has the duty to create interesting visuals. As director of photography, the writer has the duty to pay attention to framing, angles, cameras, image composition, lighting and tools that will be used during production.
