Abstract

Dalam penulisan perancangan konsep desain ini, penulis membahas mengenai faktor perkembangan atau pertumbuhan remaja baik dari biologis, psikologis atau sosialis dimana faktor faktor tersebut dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan remaja kearah positif maupun negatif. Namun, banyak diantara remaja tidak menyadari dampak perbuatan mereka terhadap diri sendiri maupun lingkungan sekitarnya. Maka dari itu, Alice in Wonderland di pilih untuk menggambarkan bagaimana perbuatan seorang remaja dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan mereka dari segi fisik, emosi dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Cerita tersebut dapat digambarkan secara visual tentang perkembangan remaja menjadi lebih dewasa yang berguna untuk diri sendiri dan orang orang disekitarnya. Dengan menggunakan film animasi dua dimensi, visual pada cerita Alice in Wonderland dapat terlihat lebih imajinatif dan unik sehingga dapat memberikan kesan yang menarik terhadap penonton. Perancangan ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka yang dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi dalam teori, permasalahan maupun dalam perancangan desain. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah konsep film animasi 2 dimensi. Semua hasil rancangan mulai dari karakter, environments, dan keyarts yang dibahas dalam karya tulis ini akan digunakan sebagai panduan pada pembuatan film animasi tersebut. Pencarian kata kunci merupakan panduan dalam membuat desain karakter, environments dan keyarts sehingga hasil dari konsep desain terlihat lebih konsisten. / In this process of concept art design, the author want to discuss about the development or growth of adolescents such as biological, psychological or socialist where these factors can influence the development of adolescents towards somethings positive or negative. However, many adoslescents doesn't realize the choice or the impact of their actions to themselves and those around them. Therefore, Alice in Wonderland was chosen to illustrate how the actions of a teenager can affect their development in terms of physical, emotional and environmental surroundings. The story can be depicted visually about the development of adolescents to become more mature which is useful for themselves and those around them. By using two-dimensional animated films, visuals in the story of Alice in Wonderland can look more imaginative and unique so that it can give an interesting impression visual on the audience. This design uses the literature study method to obtain information in form of theory, problems and in design. The result of this final project is the concept of 2-dimensional animated film. All process of design from characters, environments, and keyarts will be discussed in this paper and as a concept to making the animated film. Keyword search is a guide in making character designs, environments and keyarts so that the results of the design concept look more consistent.
