Abstract

Perusahaan katering merupakan layanan jasa makanan yang mengantarkan makanan ke rumah sesuai dengan pesanan yang diminta atau dengan paket yang ditawarkan. Salah satu masalah yang muncul dalam perusahaan katering adalah kurang cepatnya pengendara dalam mengantarkan pesanan menuju pelanggan dikarenakan adanya kemacetan yang tidak terduga atau pengendara tersesat karena tidak mengetahui lokasi pelanggan. Hal ini menyebabkan pesanan menjadi lebih lama datang dan membuat pelanggan menjadi kesal dan memberikan kesan yang buruk kepada restoran. Solusi yang diberikan oleh peneliti merupakan sebuah aplikasi GPS yang dapat memberikan rute terdekat dan optimal kepada pengendara sehingga mereka dapat mengantarkan pesanan lebih cepat. Dengan aplikasi ini, pengendara tidak akan tersesat menuju lokasi pelanggan karena aplikasi sudah menunjukkan rute yang bisa dilewati untuk mencapai lokasi pelanggan. Dari tahap pengujian yang telah dilakukan, sistem yang telah dibuat berfungsi dengan baik walaupun ada ada beberapa fungsi yang tidak berjalan dengan semestinya. Salah satu fungsi yang dapat berjalan dengan baik merupakan GPS yang dapat memberikan rute yang tercepat untuk pengendara / Catering company is a food service that delivers food to the house in accordance with the requested order or with the package offered. One of the problems that arise in catering company is the lack of drivers to deliver the food as fast as possible due to unexpected traffic jams or drivers getting lost because they do not know the customer location. This causes orders to arrive longer and makes customers annoyed and gives a bad reputation to the restaurant. The solution provided by researcher is a GPS application that can provide the closest and optimal route to drivers so that they can deliver orders faster. With this application, drivers would not get lost to the customer location because the application has given them the route to customer location. From the testing phase that has been done, the system has been made to function properly even though there are some functions that are not running properly. One of the functions that works well is the GPS system which can provide the fastest route to the drivers.
