Abstract

Every performance of employee depends on their level of satisfaction towards their job. PT Intraco Agroindustry is a manufacturing company that produces animal feed consisting of fish feed and shrimp feed. In 2019, there is a decrease in the performance of employee. Decreasing employee performance needs to be handled quickly as it will also reflect to the company which then results negatively to the company. The main purpose of this research is to examine the influence of job satisfaction towards employee performance at PT Intraco Agroindustry. This research uses quantitative method which consists of descriptive and correlational method. The number of employees in the company is 176 and the sample of employees obtained through simple random sampling is 122. The test results in this research which are validity test, reliability test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, and linearity test, all passed the criteria measurement. The data analysis method used is simple linear regression, in which the regression equation is Y = 9.582 + 0.742X. The results for determination is 52.6% and the results for hypothesis t-test is alternative hypothesis accepted. The final results of the research shows that job satisfaction have an influence on employees’ performance at PT Intraco Agroindustry. Hence, the writer recommend the company to improve their system and rules regarding of incentives, overtime, and prizes and rewards./Setiap kinerja karyawan tergantung pada tingkat kepuasan mereka terhadap pekerjaan mereka. PT Intraco Agroindustri adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi pakan ternak yang terdiri dari pakan ikan dan pakan udang. Pada 2019, terjadi penurunan kinerja karyawan di perusahaan. Penurunan kinerja karyawan perlu ditangani dengan cepat karena hal itu juga akan mencerminkan perusahaan yang kemudian berdampak negatif bagi perusahaan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Intraco Agroindustri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang terdiri dari metode deskriptif dan korelasional. Jumlah karyawan di perusahaan adalah 176 dan sampel karyawan yang diperoleh melalui simple random sampling adalah 122. Hasil pengujian dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, dan uji linieritas, semuanya lolos kriteria pengukuran. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana, di mana persamaan regresi adalah Y = 9,582 + 0,742X. Hasil untuk penentuan adalah 52,6% dan hasil untuk uji-t hipotesis adalah hipotesis alternatif yang diterima. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Intraco Agroindustri. Oleh karena itu, penulis merekomendasikan perusahaan untuk meningkatkan sistem dan aturan mereka mengenai insentif, lembur, dan hadiah dan penghargaan.
