Abstract

Starting a business is can be done by everyone and good business performance is a dream of every company. Therefore, the factors can affect business performance is necessary for an entrepreneur to know. However, the aim of this skripsi is to find out what entrepreneurial characteristics have an effect on business performance. The skripsi is conducted by the survey through a questionnaire to 62 people which is distributed to the manager, supervisor, and all the staff at the company. Data are analyzed using regression analysis method by Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The result of the analysis shows that entrepreneurial characteristics significantly have an effect on business performance at PT Suriatama Mahkota Kencana, Medan Marelan. / Memulai bisnis dapat dilakukan oleh semua orang dan kinerja bisnis yang baik adalah impian setiap perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja bisnis perlu diketahui oleh seorang pengusaha. Namun, tujuan dari skripsi ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik wirausaha apa yang berpengaruh pada kinerja bisnis. Skripsi ini dilakukan dengan survei melalui kuesioner kepada 62 orang yang dibagikan kepada manajer, penyelia, dan semua staf di perusahaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis regresi dengan menggunakan Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik wirausaha berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis pada PT Suriatama Mahkota Kencana, Medan Marelan.
