Abstract

Globalisasi mengubah seluruh bentuk dan cara bisnis, pemasaran,serta komunikasi. Hal ini mendorong berbagai sector bisnis yang sebelumnya sudah berjalan selama bertahun-tahun harus mengikuti trend yang ada sekarang agar tetap dapat bertahan serta bersaing dalam industry yang dijalankan. Penggunaan internet yang merupakan salah satu instrument penting dan berdampak paling besar dalam era globalisasi ini pun seakan menjadi sebuah keharusan bagi seluruh perusahaan konvensional. Pertemuan tatap muka guna menjalankan transaksi bisa dilakukan dengan mudah dan cepat dengan bantuan dari internet tersebut. Dari seluruh hal diatas, dapat dilihat pentingnya peran internet dalam menjalankan bisnis di era yang serba modern ini. Kesempatan magang ini memberikan kesempatan bagi penulis untuk membandingkan dan mempraktekan secara langsung teori komunikasi pemasaran dengan kenyataan yang terjadi di lapangan. Penulis melakukan kegiatan magang sebagai online marketing di PT Nusantara Elka Sumber dan mempelajari proses komunikasi serta bagaimana online marketing mempengaruhi penjualan dari PT Nusantara Elka Sumber. Kesimpulannya, banyak teori komunikasi yang sangat relevan dengan apa yang penulis lakukan saat menjalankan magang di PT Nusantara Elka Sumber. Selain itu pemagang dapat merasakan seberapa penting dan besarnya dampak dari online marketing dalam menjalankan bisnis dan guna tetap bersaing dan bahkan melebarkan jangkauan bisnis di era yang serba modern seperti saat ini. / Globalization is changing all forms and ways of business, marketing and communication. Surely this has encouraged various business sectors that have been running for many years to follow the current trends in order to stay afloat and compete in the industry. The use of the internet, which is one of the most important instruments and has the greatest impact in the era of globalization, seems to be a necessity for all conventional companies. Face to face meetings to run transactions can be done easily and quickly with the help of the internet. From all of the above, it can be seen the important role of the internet in conducting business in this modern era. In order to directly compare and practice marketing communication theory with reality in the field, the authors conducted an internship as online marketing at PT Nusantara Elka Sumber and studied the communication process and how online marketing affected sales from PT Nusantara Elka Sumber. From the results of the internship, it is evident that many communication theories are very relevant to what the author did while running an internship at PT Nusantara Elka Sumber. In addition, interns can feel how important and the magnitude of the impact of online marketing in running a business and in order to stay competitive and even widen the reach of businesses in the modern era as it is today.
