Abstract

Pada umumnya, di dalam penyelenggaraan ibadah umum di gereja-gereja di kota besar sebagian besar informasi termasuk materi ibadah disampaikan kepada jemaat (sebagai audiens) melalui penggunaan proyektor berdaya tinggi atau layar lebar berteknologi LED. Namun, banyak juga gereja-gereja yang tidak mempunyai kemampuan finansial untuk pengadaan media seperti itu. Di sisi lain, gereja-gereja juga mendukung praktek ramah lingkungan, khususnya pengurangan penggunaan kertas, dengan beralih kepada penyiapan konten digital. Dengan menggabungkan kedua pertimbangan antara ketidaksanggupan gereja membeli proyektor dan inisiatif ibadah yang ramah lingkungan maka dibutuhkan sebuah solusi alternatif. Pada laporan ini didiskusikan pengembangan solusi alternatif untuk mengatasi persoalan di atas bagi bakal pos GKI Gading Serpong. Selain itu dicakup juga pengelolaan data jemaat dan data keuangan yang keduanya bersifat kritikal. Solusi yang dibangun berupa purwarupa (prototype) aplikasi berbasis web yang dikembangkan menggunakan metode prototyping. Aplikasi yang dinamai iGreja ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa scripting PHP dengan dukungan framework CodeIgniter. Melalui serangkaian pengujian yang dilakukan, purwarupa yang dibangun dapat dikatakan fungsional. Teks liturgi, data kehadiran yang dibedakan atas jenis kelamin, daftar petugas beserta penugasannya, nama pendeta dan tema kotbah, nilai total persembahan untuk suatu tanggal dan waktu penyelenggaraan dapat diakses melalui dashboard yang tersedia. Sementara, teks liturgi, materi renungan dan berita gereja dapat dilihat dan/atau diunduh dari laman web yang dikembangkan. / In general, it is common in practice that in the conduct of worship services in many churches in big cities most of the information including worship material is delivered to the congregation (as an audience) through the use of projector with high brightness level or LED giant screen. However, not all churches have the affordability or financial ability to procure such media. On the other hand, churches are more aware of being part of global movement to support environmentally friendly practices, specifically in reducing the paper usage, by turning the printed material to digital content. By combining those two considerations between the church’s inability to purchase such projectors and an environmentally friendly worship initiative, an alternative solution is needed. This report will discuss the development of alternative solution to solve above problems faced by Bapos GKI Gading Serpong. Furthermore, it will also cover congregation data and financial data which are critical issues. The solution proposed is in form of a web-based app prototype that was developed based on prototyping method. This application called iGreja was developed using PHP scripting language with the help of CodeIgniter framework. Through a series of testing conducted, the prototype built is concluded to be functional. Liturgical text, attendance data that is separated by genders, list of servants and their assignment, reverend’s name and worship service’s topic, offering’s total value for a certain date and time can be accessed via available dashboard. While liturgical text, devotional material, and church’s news can be seen and/or downloaded from the developed web page.
