Abstract

Main goal of most companies is profit maximization. The profit generated by the companies contributed towards the national economic situation. As main GDP contributor of non-oil and gas sector, food and beverages sector is sampled. Current Ratio, Inventory Turnover and Debt to Equity Ratio are utilized to see the impact on return on equity. Sampling method used is purposive sampling, data obtained are secondary data accessed through Indonesia Stock Exchange. Total sample that fulfill the criteria is 12 companies, with the period 2016 – 2019, resulting in total 48 samples. The results of this research are partially, Current Ratio and Inventory Turnover do not have significant impact on Return on Equity. While partially, Debt to Equity Ratio has significant impact on Return on Equity. Simultaneously, the three independent variables have significant impact on the dependent variable. / Tujuan utama sebagian besar perusahaan adalah memaksimalkan keuntungan. Keuntungan yang dihasikan perusahaan – perusahaan tersebut berkontribusi terhadap keadaan ekonomi nasional. Sebagai kontributor PDB utama dari sektor non minyak dan gas, sektor makanan dan minuman dipilih sebagai sampel. Current Ratio, Inventory Turnover dan Debt to Equity Ratio digunakan untuk melihat pengaruh terhadap Return on Equity. Metode sampling yang dipakai adalah purposive sampling, data yang diperoleh merupakan data sekunder yang diakses lewat Bursa Efek Indonesia. Total sampel yang memenuhi kriteria adalah 12 perusahaan dengan periode penelitian 2016 – 2019, menghasilkan total 48 sampel. Hasil dari penelitian adalah secara parsial, Current Ratio dan Inventory Turnover tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Return on Equity. Sedangkan secara parsial, Debt to Equity Ratio memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Return on Equity. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel independen tersebut memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen.
