Abstract

UI / UX atau User Experience dan User Interface sangat penting untuk membantu pengguna berinteraksi dengan aplikasi. Aplikasi yang user-friendly dapat menjadi daya tarik terhadap pengguna dan juga mempermudah pengguna dalam berinteraksi. DEPATU adalah anak perusahaan dari PT. Kreativitas Aset Indonesia yang bergerak pada bidang fashion & lifestyle yang menyediakan marketplace dan jasa otentikasi produk fashion. Dalam wawancara dengan pengguna, diketahui bahwa tampilan interface dari aplikasi DEPATU menjadi salah satu kesulitan bagi pengguna untuk berinteraksi dan melakukan aktivitas di dalam aplikasi. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan pendekatan user centered design dengan metode usability testing untuk menemukan dan memahami kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa analisa usability score dan perancangan prototype tampilan baru dari aplikasi DEPATU sektor Legit Check yang dapat membantu pengguna dalam berinteraksi dan melakukan aktivitas di dalam aplikasi seperti legit check, Top up saldo DEPATU wallet, tracking proses legit check sampai hasil otentikasi dipublikasi. Dengan pendekatan user centered design dalam proses perancangan prototype, aplikasi dengan tampilan baru menghasilkan total usability score (direct dan indirect success) dalam usability testing sebesar 94 poin. Dalam tahap uji coba terhadap aplikasi DEPATU dalam periode waktu 5 bulan, terlihat peningkatan jumlah pengguna sebanyak 4.670 pengguna./UI / UX or User Interface and User Experience are essential to help user interacts with product. An user-friendly interface can be a selling point to user and help user to use the product. DEPATU is the sub-company of PT. Kreativitas Aset Indonesia which runs in fashion & lifestyle industry and provides fashion product authentication service. In the interview with users, the problem of DEPATU’s interface mentioned as one of user’s difficulties. Therefore, to find and understand user’s needs, a research with User-centered Design and Usability Testing method was held. The output of this research is the analysis of usability score and prototype design of a new interface for DEPATU application in Legit Check section to help user interacts with the application. For instance, ordering legit check, top up DEPATU wallet and check tracking until the authentication result released. By the method of User-centered Design in the design process, the new interface scored 94 points of usability score (indirect and direct success). Moreover, during the testing of the new design in the period of 5 months, user’s traffic increased by 4.570 new users.
