Abstract

Every company will give their best to improve their productivity, quality, and continue to innovate to able to compete in the market. PT. Niaga Teknik Sukses, Medan is a company engaged in trading or distributor of power and hand tools. The research objective is to know the Effect of Supply Chain Management on Firm Competitive Advantage at PT. Niaga Teknik Sukses, Medan. Li and Lin (2006) as cited by Çemberci (2015) stated that high level of supply chain management application increases competitive advantage and firm performance This research use quantitative data, and descriptive method. Data used in the research are primary and secondary data. Data analysis methods used are descriptive statistic, validity, reliability, normality, linearity, and heteroscedasticity test, coefficient of determination,linear regression analysis and t-test. Based on the research result, the correlation value of 0.747 shows that there is a high relationship between supply chain management and competitive advantage in the company. Coefficient of determination results is 55.8% changing in variable (Y) can be explained by the role of variable (X). The t-test shows that tcount value (7.017). The equation of linear regression is Y = 3.888 + 0.841X, the coefficient of regression value of 0.841 means that in increasing of 1 unit in variable (X) can make the increasing of variable (Y) in 0.841 unit. The company should improve their supply chain management strategy to solve the problem. By having an effective and efficient supply chain management, the company can achieve better sales and retain their customers. / Setiap perusahaan akan memberikan yang terbaik untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, kualitas, dan terus berinovasi untuk dapat bersaing di pasar. PT. Niaga Teknik Sukses, Medan adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perdagangan atau distributor alat tangan dan listrik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Manajemen Rantai Pasokan terhadap Keunggulan Kompetitif Perusahaan di PT. Niaga Teknik Sukses, Medan. Li dan Lin (2006) sebagaimana dikutip oleh Çemberci (2015) menyatakan bahwa aplikasi manajemen rantai pasokan tingkat tinggi meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif dan kinerja perusahaan Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif, dan metode deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif,uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, linieritas, dan heteroskedastisitas, koefisien determinasi, analisis regresi linier dan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai korelasi sebesar 0,747 menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang tinggi antara manajemen rantai pasokan dan keunggulan kompetitif di perusahaan. Hasil dari Koefisien determinasi adalah 55,8% perubahan variabel (Y) dapat dijelaskan oleh peran variabel (X). Uji-t menunjukkan nilai thitung (7,017). Persamaan regresi linier adalah Y = 3,888 + 0,841X, koefisien nilai regresi 0,841 berarti bahwa dalam peningkatan 1 unit dalam variabel (X) dapat membuat peningkatan variabel (Y) di 0,841 unit. Dengan memiliki manajemen rantai pasokan yang efektif dan efisien, perusahaan dapat mencapai penjualan yang lebih baik dan mempertahankan pelanggan mereka.
