Abstract

Teknologi bukan lagi hal yang baru, tahun ke tahun teknologi semakin berkembang dan sudah menjadi bagian dari hidup sehari-hari kita. Inovasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang memudahkan untuk menyimpan dan mencari informasi atau sangat membantu berbagai macam pihak, terutama dalam sebuah perusahaan agar perusahaan dapat mengembangkan ketepatan keputusan dan meningkatkan kinerja. Penelitian akan dilakukan kepada Pengangkutan Jasa Harapan Baru adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang ekspedisi darat yang sudah beroperasi selama kurang lebih 30 tahun dan masih menggunakan proses manual pada perusahaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi langsung pada lapangan untuk melihat kondisi dan proses kerja yang berjalan pada perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan sistem informasi akuntansi berhasil menyajikan informasi akuntansi yang dibutuhkan akan tetapi belum mencapai efektifitas dan efesiensi yang ingin dicapai agar meningkatkan kualitas kerja perusahaan. / Technology is no longer a new thing, each year technology has increasingly developed and has become part of our daily lives. Technological innovations and developments that make it easy to store and search for information that really help a variety of parties, especially in a company to enhance the accuracy of decisions and improve performances. This research was held at Pengangkutan Jasa Harapan Baru, a company that works in the field expeditions that have been operating for approximately 30 years and are still using manual processes in the company. This study uses interview and direct observation in the field to see the conditions and work processes that are running at the company. The results of this study concluded that the accounting information system succeeded in presenting the accounting information needed but had not yet reached the effectiveness and efficiency it wanted to achieve in order to improve the quality of company’s work.
