Abstract
Pembangunan sarana infrastruktur sangat dibutuhkan pada suatu daerah, dalam
rangka meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat setempat, sehubungan dengan
berkembangnya masyarakat pada suatu daerah, sarana infrakstruktur berupa jalan,
jembatan, pelabuhan laut dan udara sangat dibutuhkan, agar distribusi kebutuhan
pokok dapat dilaksanakan secara lancar dan cepat, sehingga harga kebutuhan pokok
stabil.
Pada daerah ini terdapat Perusahaan tambang Tembaga dan Mas yaitu : PT.Freeport
Indonesia yang merupakan perusahaan tambang tembaga dan emas terbesar di dunia
akan membangun bandar udara Internasional. Berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang
disyaratkan yaitu:
1. Cepat pelaksanaan pembangunannya.
2. Biaya Pengiriman material murah, karena jarak yang jauh, serta lebih murah.
Studi dilakukan dengan membanding-bandingkan berbagai jenis struktur yang
tersedia, hasilnya menunjukkan struktur dengan menggunakan Baja ringan (Cold
Form Steel) paling murah costnya, dalam hal pengunaan Baja Ringan (Cold Form),
beberapa permasalahan utama yang perlu dilakukan penelitian secara mendalam
seperti yang tercantum berikut ini:
1. Bagaimana karakteristik material struktur baja ringan (Cold Form)?
2. Bagaimana perbandingan biaya pelaksanaan konstruksi dengan menggunakan
baja ringan (Cold Form) bila diperbandingkan dengan struktur baja biasa?
3. Bagaimana hasil analisis inovasi implementasi penggunaan material baja ringan
terhadap kinerja biaya pada proyek Bandara International Mozes Kilangin
Timika Papua?
4. Apa rekomendasi perbaikan yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini?
Penelitian menggunakan data didapatkan dengan merujuk kepada procurement
manajemen yang mencakup manajemen pembelian dan controlling terhadap bahan
(material). Peralatan dan jasa, serta menggunakan pemodelan Regressi Linier
Berganda (Multi Linear Regression) yang menunjukan faktor fabrikasi dan instalasi
sangat berkontribusi yang dalam variabel adalah sistem roll forming harus
ditingkatkan. / Infrastructures are needed to develop a district, in order to bust economic growth
for local people, the infrastructure which are needed are bridges, roads, highway,
port and airport, they are needed to distribute basic good such rice, sugar,
clothes and building materials smoothly so that there is no price goods
fluctuation in that district. There is biggest copper and gold mining company
name PT.Free port Indonesia located at Timika Papua Province that want to
build an International airport with certain criteria that are listred below:
1. Faster installation Time.
2. Deliver cost of materials must be cheap and cost of structure must be cheap also.
Studied have been done by compare the design of structure using different building
material, from mild steel, out come indicated that the structure designed using cold
form steel much cheaper than other material, by referring to this back ground, we
get some thing concerning with cold form material, then we do futher study, then
some scientific matters, that should solve using scientific approach, scientific
matters that related to cold form material increase performance of structure cold
form steel which using procurement knowledge base are listed below:
1. What are specific charaterstic of cold form steel as a building material?
2. What is price comparison between structure designed using cold form steel
compare with structure designed other?
3. What is analysis result, what are improvements that we have got from study case
implementing cold form steel structure on Mozes Kilangin International Airport
in Timika Papua efficiencies ?
4. What are improvement recommendations that we got referring to this sresearch?
Research been done based on Procurement Management knowledge, which cover
planing, purchasing material, equipments and services, and controlling all stages
that should be done, factor and variables are formed based on Procurement
management knowledge that shown in PMBOK206. Multi Linear Regression model
are formed questioner responds and with help SPSS (Statistic Program System
Solution) software to solve research problem, variables that form Multi Linier
Regression model are: Improvement of roll form method will increase performance.
