Abstract

The hospitality industry has grown into one of the largest businesses. The Trans Luxury Hotel located in Bandung is a 5-star local chain hotel. Being a well-known hotel certainly has the support of good management and human resources to achieve goals, where the employees have given great work performance but it could be influenced by job stress and job satisfaction. The research method in this study is quantitative by using simple random sampling as the sampling techniques then distribute an online questionnaire as a data collecting method to 126 samples from 184 populations of The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung's employees. In this research, the data analysis is using multiple linear regression, and to find out the relationship between the variables it be tested with T-test, coefficient of correlation and coefficient of determination with the significant level 0.05. To prove if the variables have simultaneous influence then it be tested with F-test, but before that there need to test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire distributed first to 30 different respondents. The purpose of this study is to determine if there is any influence between Job Stress and Job Satisfaction toward Employee’s Performance at The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. The results of the study concluded that Job Stress and Job Satisfaction affect Employee's Performance, where each variable also has a linear relationship to Employee's Performance and the proof that Job Stress and Job Satisfaction simultaneously affect Employee's Performance./ Industri perhotelan telah berkembang menjadi salah satu bisnis terbesar. The Trans Luxury Hotel yang terletak di Bandung adalah hotel rantai lokal bintang-5. Menjadi hotel yang terkenal tentu memiliki dukungan manajemen yang baik dan sumber daya manusia untuk mencapai tujuan, di mana karyawan telah memberikan kinerja kerja yang hebat tetapi bisa dipengaruhi oleh stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan simple random sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel kemudian mendistribusikan kuesioner online sebagai metode pengumpulan data ke 126 sampel dari 184 populasi karyawan The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda, dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel-variabel itu diuji dengan uji-T, koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasi dengan tingkat signifikan 0,05. Untuk membuktikan jika variabel memiliki pengaruh simultan maka diuji dengan F-test, tetapi sebelum itu perlu menguji validitas dan reliabilitas dari kuesioner yang dibagikan terlebih dahulu kepada 30 responden yang berbeda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh antara stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, di mana setiap variabel juga memiliki hubungan linier dengan kinerja karyawan dan bukti bahwa stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja secara simultan mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan.
