Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan which compensation is an important factor in the company. From the compensation, the company hope that it can increase the job satisfaction because by having a positive job satisfaction it can help to encourage employees to achieve their best performance. The main objective of this research is to find the influence of compensation on employees’ job satisfaction. In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires distributed to employees. The population and sample in the study amounted to 40 employees at PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan. The scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale. The results of the partial test can be explained compensation influence on employees’ job satisfaction at PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan. This shows that the magnitude of the influence of the compensation on Job Satisfaction PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan is 58.6% and the remaining 41.4% is influenced by other variables outside of this study in the form of training, work environment work motivation and so on. The recommendation from this research is to give a higher incentive if the employees can achieve beyond target and expectation The conclusion in this study that there is an compensation influence on employees job satisfaction at PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan / Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan dimana kompensasi adalah faktor yang penting dalam perusahaan ini. Dari kompensasi tersebut perusahaan berharap dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karena dengan memiliki kepuasan kerja yang positif dapat membantu mendorong karyawan untuk mencapai performa terbaik mereka. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada karyawan. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 karyawan di PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala Likert. Hasil uji parsial dapat dijelaskan pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh kompensasi terhadap Kepuasan Kerja PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan adalah 58,6% dan sisanya 41,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini dalam bentuk pelatihan, motivasi kerja lingkungan kerja dan sebagainya. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan insentif yang lebih tinggi jika karyawan dapat mencapai di luar target dan harapan. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa ada pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT Amorindo Mitra Sentosa, Medan.
